i've check my gen2 cps MT gearbox use F5M42 with 4.312 final drive..
i think they use same gearbox with MIVEC but diff final drive to suite cps power band

If so does that mean my car insurance MUST be Allianz Bank also? Or any insurance company will do? 

sphiroth, what is the gearbox used for our batch? Actually what is the different between our batch and newer one?

Mean Proton buy insurance n then give 5 year warranty to us? We only enjoy the insurance coverage lidat?

is it K-F5M-421? Anyway it's not original GB, so ur next mod is to install Mivec GB with LSD hehehe RM2.5K

if lock the autodrive at 110km/h.... the rpm needle shown at .... ops... heavy rain laaa... eyes on the road... maybe next time....

waaa sphiroth, your explanation abit too ununderstandable. haha. can explain to me why is my rpm higher compare to the rest again?

actually its the gear ratio that determine your car speed, not ECU...

example...
if both the cars are running same engine and same gearbox ratio... @3k rpm both the car speed is at 100 km/h.... irregardless of the rim/tyres used (as those affect the readings only)...

why u have a higher rpm?
clutch slipping or somehow for your particular car, proton gives u a special ratio or your rpm meter sudah gila abit...

my idle is also at 1k rpm....

u can read ur waja cps GB number in between the right engine mounting and the engine block. its very obvious. if stand at the right headlamp, u can peek at it.

urs is gen2 rite? maybe a bit different from waja...

Yes u r right, there is not much different in each gear, but the FD does the matter.

whats the satria neo gearbox codes? actually, bigger number for the FD is better for top speed only? as i understand, smaller FD number is meant for faster sprints...

actually bigger FD low speed but high pickup..
connection between engine, transmission and wheel:
Wheel Speed (m/s) = Effective Wheel radius (meter) x (2pi x RPM/60)/(Final drive x gear ratio) 
Wheel torque (Nm) = Engine torque (at specific RPM) x (Final drive x gear ratio)

in much simpler notation:
lets say, total gear ratio T = Final drive x Gear ratio

Speed = RPM/T    *low T more speed
Torque = Engine torque x T    *high T more torque

so, we can say if set of same gear ratio..higher FD give more pickup (Wheel Torque) but Slower speed

with all the computation involved (i.e gear ratios, final drive), it is still the same gearbox. unless some one here is having or intending to replace their gearbox, it leads to no where... 

Well, they can juz get the unit shown on the EVE concept.. Or since they are juz 'outsourcing', juz get a decent one~ 

Hmmm..I read here (at lowyat.net) once that a Saga or Waja (can't remember) which the owner swap to CVT.. 

does waja cps (m) have EBD???

after claying, u should do some minor polishing. this will have better effect to smoothen the rough surface and give it a natural shine. then only add sealant layer. and wax as final. it will be super shiny...
