Try this instead. Open TomTom. Go to Menu. Tap Change Settings. Tap Audio. Turn on "Voice Volume" and subsequently adjust the volume to your liking.  thumbup.gif

I've tried both Papago and Tom Tom. Both have pros and cons, but finally i stick with Tom Tom.

Pros:
1. Less battery drainage (a lot smile.gif) compare to Papago
2. Less heat (the phone is freaking hot when i use Papago)

Cons:
1. Less user friendly

True, Papago drains battery. I hook up a lighter power cable to my iPhone, keep it powered in the car.
I assume most people use GPS in the car ?

Tested Papago, find out to be good, route suggestion quite accurate and maps is up to date.

I am using Papago M7 with iPhone 4.
The map is updated but it has a slightly delay while on the road around 1-2sec especially when turning a corner.

installed papago m7 from itunes, at first, locking position is slow... but after that, second, third very fast already! very smooth! worth paying for...

I think the happy users don't much comment here... because they we are totally satisfied...

why other satisfied users don't remember to comment here? what for? hehehe

It's free of charge for updating since you have already bought it. I update via appstore on iphone, not sure about via itunes.

The last version 7.1.5 was about 595 MB, better find a wifi to download.

I personally prefer Tom over Papa. I had both installed on my previous 3GS but I only used Tom which has a better interface. It's 20 bucks cheaper now so faster grab it. tongue.gif
