Saw some light for Garmin on iPhone

Yup, about time Garmin came into the iphone scene, will make PPG shiver in their spine. Only hope when garmin becomes available, the price would be competitive.

Guys, would like to ask, any GPS software are recommended for place in east malaysia like Miri and kota kinabalu?

TomTom does not detect one way road and lead me to 1 way road many times >.<

i am using 3gs new boot rom , i saw alot ppl got same problem with me , but i dunno why , my papago is not working , keep searching for satelite and stuck in the jalan p ramlee since i am in puchong area, got ppl say u must be in outdoor , but i try before , no luck , izit got problem about my phone , have been try papago 6.1 and 7.1 . still cannot fix , HELP

if Papago can improve their software robustness, then it would be very much better. I hate their laggy interface.

That is not GPS device problem already. Smart-Tag (Touch'nGo) will not work either.

This is due to V-Kool is too good a product, that it blocks out most of the infrared radio spectrum, which includes the range for mobile phones and smart-tag devices.

That is why you may see people wind-down their car windows and holding the smart-tag outside their windows when passing toll plaza    You may need to do that with your GPS device. Good luck on current rainy days 

Or, cut a hole on the V-Kool .

My smart tag and iPhone gps still work on vkool elite, and the house autogate. Just harder to detect, go toll always show tiada smart tag then only detect

Indeed, any GPS app will suck the batt juice because of the GPS chip...not the app.

I thought I read GARMIN not gonna develop apps for 3rd party device anymore...its GMXT is no longer on going.....from now on, it's all just gonna be in their proprietary GARMIN device....correct me if I am wrong but we wont be seeing garmin on our iphones..

just downloaded both tom tom & papago, dont like the map & interface, looks pretty sucks, garmin & navigon way better!

I prefer Tom Tom over Papago, Papago is too resource intensive, plus it has very weird routes, keep rerouting to some unknown area, not really recommended as it made me lost in kl city several times. However Tom Tom map is kinda outdated
