QUOTE(mADmAN @ Dec 23 2009, 10:52 PM) whoops...ur right.... must have had my mind on something else when i typed the 1.3k Dell St2410 power consumption also less too, which mean can save electric bill. Correct me if i wrong... anyway.... need some help with comparisons... 1/ main usage will be for gaming.... 2/ will be buying 2 for a dual monitor setup to be able to do work at home. 3/ work tends to involve ALOT (98% of the time) of spreadsheets, excel and SPSS data (which looks like excel sometimes) 4/ AOC 2434Pw vs Dell ST2410 AOC 2434Pw - 23.6" viewing area - 2ms (GTG) - 60000:1 (DCR) - dunno got anti glare or not - height adjustable - Easily available almost everywhere including garage sales - 3 year warranty - good aftersales support? - not all black - price between RM650-685 Dell ST2410 - 24" viewing area - 5ms (?T?) - 50000:1 (DCR) - anti glare - no height adjustable - can only order from Dell, abit leceh - 3 year warranty, if willing to pay more can get up to 5 years - all black front, rear is white and out of view so no issue - RM699 dell's 24" viewing area is really tempting...could use as much space as possible to display my work... but wat about the 5ms thing? i remember reading somewhere a long time ago that dell has a tendency of under rating their response rate. so 5ms dell is like 2ms to other brands or something like that...is this true? so pls...share ur thoughts. |

I guess it was VH242H rite? Asus VH242H quite good also..only u can already expect the price entry from their brand..around RM720+ i think
It have xtra SPDIF connection. Need to buy HDMI cable, Still using press button option, 5ms GTG (a bit down for me), DCR 20k (True 1k:1) with 23.6" viewing..Decent 24" LCD from Asus.. |

Dunno if it using the old D-Sub cable that wont produce rich color as good as CRT..Using HDMI also same? Hope some p2434 fellas outhere will come here to resolve this probs for u..

Seems like today is the last day to get the cash redemption for Dell monitors.... Anyone knows how long consumers need to wait before the next cash redemption? Am aiming for Dell ST2210 btw |
