Hi,anyone using Samsung XL2370 or Dell U2410?Can someone post their review here? And someone can update the price for Samsung XL2370?Is that I only can purchase Dell from their websites or some place I can get it with cheaper price ?
One of my friends had the Dell U2410, he bought it online if I'm not mistaken (probably during the promotion period)... hmm.gif and he told me "will never go back to TN Panel". laugh.gif

Ai,that time got 2 type of promotion, but cannot combine both,so the price is the same. What is the price for XL2370 now?
Never go back to TN...but Samsung got faster respond time than Dell.Though Samsung is LED backlight with TN panel.Wondering is LED got any advantage over Dell U2410.

I don't think at current point of tech, response time a very important issue already. My opinion only.

As I have 2209WA e-IPS with response time of 6ms and 2ms Samsung TN panel, I cannot see any difference or ghosting. While viewing angle, picture colour quality has contrast difference.

I would say the most important issue is about budget or cost on whether selecting TN or IPS, because price gap is still big gap between TN and IPS.

Longer-life, longer peak time brightness (more or less stable brightness in its life-time) , narrower wave-length produced, less current consumed,...... unless they used tri-colour LEDs, no real advantage in true colour reproduction, TN panel less range (and viewing angle) than IPS

It is down to individual budget, there is no right and wrong.

Cheapest IPS should be e-ips Dell 2209WA, Rm750
Edited : it is not a true IPS, but at least get rid of viewing angle issue and better colour.

I don't think shops will display IPS lcd or keep stock on IPS panel mainly due to cost wise. It is hard to sell an IPS compared to TN because price differentiate simply too big.
24" IPS cost above RM1500, while 24" TN cost RM700-800, it is very hard for shops to sell.

Response time depends on panel type not backlight... fastest panel being a TN ... @ about 2ms G2G

notworthy.gif Sorry,I misread ur questions. The respond time of Samsung XL2370 is 2ms(GTG)if not mistaken.I dono the respond time for other model since LED is still rare at the moment.

Could that be considered as a manufacturing defect? Perhaps you'd better call Dell and inquire.
