Exactly, response time if not an issue with IPS, even with my old 4 yrs old S-IPS 2007WFP I do not experience any sort of ghosting with this monitor.
*
since LCD response time improve to below 16ms/8ms, ghosting effect is not much an issue nowadays, although some even go to 2ms, which I don't think 99.9% people can notice the difference between 2ms,4ms or even 6ms if there is no spec being printed on the box or lcd.

A lady from sales department call me juz now.
then i asked her abt discount, after checking then she called me back to tell me that for ST2410 is already discounted price and no further discount. sad~~~

furthermore, 2day is a holiday...even if i initiate payment online 2day, monitor will only arrive to me latest on 21st.. sad~~~

anyway, she said she has no commission and only marketing guys will get commission...after that she said will call me again on monday to confirm again...hopefully she can bring me some good news for discount.

p/s: she quite easy going, voice quite sweet also ^^

is it most of the widescreen, especially those in 16:9 support HDCP?

can a non-HDCP monitor (even got DVI port), use to display bluray movie?

Lowyat plaza or lowyat.net sweat.gif

Lowyat plaza haven't gone there be4 so dunno. If lowyat.net go into garage sales, in the display cards and monitors. Browse around if ur lucky to get ppl who sell it at pc fair price. Otherwise, go pc fair , it'll be little cheap. My friend got H233H at the price of Rm 599 ( psycho number sweat.gif ) which if in other shop it would sell at RM 65X

Aiyoh, then the screen would go wider and wider and wider. But how about the height? sweat.gif .

LCD screen measurements have always been done diagonally. Meaning if you use a 30" monitor, it would expand both horizontally and vertically accordingly.

Oic. But comparing my H233H and my old Viewsonic 19" , some reason i felt that H233H is too wide for the height sweat.gif . Arent there any "normal" screen measurement which the wide and height looks more 'balance'?

I think he means, nowadays lcd screen become more and more 'elongated' with changing from 4:3 -> 16:10 -> 16.9.

So even screen size become bigger from 19" (back with 4:3) to now 24" popular 16:9, it just means screen become longer instead bigger. biggrin.gif
