hi..may i know what are the lcd monitors which come with in built speakers besides the Acer models? i plan to connect my xbox to it. Or does every monitor with a hdmi input has speakers?

I'm not too sure about the monitor, but I have experience with dell's laptop warranty, they will send in a technician to check of the problems and they will do on-site repairs, means repair straight at your house. If its un-repairable. I'm guessin that they will do a one-to-one exchange. Have to ask those who have done warranty claims from dell for more detailed information

how much the price market selling for the hdmi cable..
dell offer that model is not inclued hdmi cable..
if need it must add for RM80...
should i buy together or mayb i can get cheaper at other shop?

I'm using SAMSUNG P2770H... so far i got problem with it.. the displaying desktop/programs seems to be vibrating (especially when it is displaying words)..still haven't figure out how to set it correctly. but this might be because i'm setting it to be my second monitor (using dualview with my 17" monitor) or it is because of my graphic card (leadtek px9700 gt..i think).
the button to 'ON' or 'setting' the monitor is abit annoying to. at first try it feels cool. but after many time using it..i'm starting to hate the button. Coz it can be quite unresponsive at a time.

all in all..the monitor looks beautiful, 27" is a good size for my PS3 and for doing my photoshop. ohya..i got no problem of vibrating display when using my PS3. just only when using as my com 2nd monitor.

Vibration display might be caused by faulty Screen Refresh rate. I've encounter that scenarios be4..
Just try-out random troubleshoot by swaping into 1st monitor and tweaking the driver itself might help sometime..

im gonna share a sad story, earlier i bought the samsung b2330h and i wanted to use it so i plugged in everything but it didnt work .. tried dvi/vga all not working so i thought my gfx card already gone then i re-try with my 17" guess what it worked.

so i try to use a laptop, connected via vga when pressing the fn + f5 button my lcd turn white and seconds after white smoke started to come of it.

could it be my fault or lcd got problem.

Only way to find out is to send it to samsung tmr morning and see what will become of all this. wish me luck hope they replace me with another one.

Note: the lcd was manufactured march 2010.

i must know, is your backlight ok? is the brightness good enough? especially in dark room conditions?

Usually its not recommended to use the built-in speakers that the monitor comes with, because the sound would be very (VERY) crappy.
Its advisable that you buy another set of speakers to pair with your monitor instead.

Most of the monitors with hdmi input will have their built-in speakers, but not every monitors though (iianm).

Anyone here using samsung p2770h 27" monitor? as in my previous post.. I still have this problem of vibrating display but only when using 1920x1080 (32bit colour) setting. So far this monitor screen refresh rate is only 60 hertz..neither more nor less. (if anybody can set it up differently do tell me please.. )

So far for me to stop this vibrating problem, i hv to set it to a resolution of 1920x1080 but change the colour properties to 16bit OR change the resolution to below 1920x1080. Of course i'll be chosing the latter option. but knowing the monitor is fullHD capable..it is disappointing. 

Anyone have a solution do tell me...thanx.

if u using ati graphic card, go to the CCC, scaling option there, try to increase fr 0% to 1-2% percent, it may reduce the scaling a little empty box but try and see how the effect. do give your feedback.

my case was when i use 0%, i can see the font vibrating, but increase to 1%, the font get smoother
