Wondering out aloud - RM2920 for two person flight to HK (and return via AA) along with hotel accommodation (Wharney Guang Dong) for 5 days and 4 nights. Good or expensive?

anyone tried using maybank debit card for hotel deposit?
for example, i book hotel through agent and already paid in full the fees, and according to the agent, the hotel may ask for deposit and most people use either credit card or cash.
im wondering whether i'm able to use debit cad instead of credit card so i dont have to prepare extra cash for deposit.... if yes, then what should i take note? should i sign anythin or what?

Can I ask you if you know where is the best place to buy perfume in HK?? Perfume like CK,Tommy Hilfiger, Estee Lauder, Blvgari, Hugo Boss,Issey Miyaki, DKNY. Some friends told me is cheap to buy perfume in HK compare to Malaysia. Is that true??

Yup, 8nights in Dragon Hostel last year, would recommend the place. Friend and 73yo mom stayed there last month, they were happy too.

USA hostel, at Mirador Mansion, TST, bad reputation -for what you booked is not what'll you get, there have been incidents that one is made to pay more upon arrival to get what you saw on the web. It is also known to have diverting the guest to it's lesser known "sister hostel" that are under the same management.

Basically, try to avoid hostels at Mirador Mansion and Chungking Mansion, the area is "complicated".

Thanks. Hope you'll have a great trip there! biggrin.gif

You can buy from Sasa, there are many Sasa outlets all over Hong Kong. Likewise, you can get them at HK International Airport.
