Me and my family will be making a trip to HK this September. Basically it's only me, my wife and my 4yrs old gal.
Should we sign up for a tour package or free n easy tour? Most likely we will be flying by Cathay as it's the cheapest among AA and MAS.

To those who had be to HK quite often, i really need some advise from u.
This is my dilemma :
  1) Our trip will only be 4d/3n
  2) We wanna visit Disneyland and Shenzhen for some shopping. how far is shenzhen from hk?
  3) Any hotels to stay that is near to places of interest and it's convenient to travel around.
  4) Is it advisable to travel with guide or free n easy. Btw we r Chinese so language is not a barrier to us.
  5) Got any lobangs on any HK tour promos..

I just came back from HK, not that hot there now, only 27'C-30'C.
Transportation very easy.
Only thing that, some do not speak english.
*I miss our malaysian affordable nasi lemak and cheap roti canai(In HK=RM5 after converted to RM).
Their Curry fish ball are spicy and sweet. Guess I still loves Malaysian Taste. Food there aren't cheap. But, HK are definitely worth visit to shopping. Fragrance, toiletries and many things there are cheap, probably coz its all duty free.
Have to take precaution and becareful when buy electronic things, have to buy in a reputable shops, as they will replace the goods item with fake or faulty one. so, please double check.

I did not get enough time to go all HK must go places.
I want to go HK again... When is the best season?
Next year March-May, should be alright is it? Don't want too hot.

Like stimix have said, no need tour guide. I did my entire research based on this thread and achieve nearly 80% of my pre-planned itinerary.

Just came back from HK. Stayed at Dorsett Yau Ma Tei.. 5d 4n.. all and wifey can say is walk like mad.. both leg like numb edi.. but the experience and food.. superb. Next yr Dec going back .. will book tickets next month.
