i remember i read about 3 days tourist pass before for the mtr... anyone have any idea how much is it? it couldn't be use for airport rail is it?

and anyone rise on ding ding tram before? how far would it be from central->wan chai on the tram? and roughly how much it cost?
*
225HKD iianm...can only be used once on the airport travel.

For the ding ding, it's not that slow if you're not rushing. Just take a ride and enjoy the HK view

suppose to be this, but i think they changed it

Last time i survey, it was HKD8 per hour but max cap of rm24 per day. Meaning if u paid rm24 u can use for whole day.

Best is that this comes with voice also..

but your link of the ipad data plan looks good... for HKD88/250mb but dunno applicable for tourist or not.

Hey you can check the Ding Ding Tram route here. It cover the major place that mostly we will go.
http://www.hktramways.com/En/TramService/R...pEastbound.html

The Ferry that you mentioned should be Star Ferry.

I've never used the tourist pass before, IMHO, not worth.

Ding Ding tram ride is fun and cheap. It's on flat fare rate, adult pay HKD2.30 per ride. You board the tram from the back and alight from the front, pay when alighting. Can pay by Octopus card, but I normally take it as a good chance to get rid of some coins, so I pay by cash.... The longest ride I've taken was from Shau Kei Wan to Central, took almost 1.5hr, but I pretty much enjoy the ride.

The ferry you meant is called Star Ferry. From TST, there are separate terminals to Central and to Wan Chai. Different pricing for upper deck and lower deck, weekdays and weekends. Anyone intend to visit the Golden Bauhinia Square from Kowloom side, I highly recommend taking the Star Ferry from TST to Wan Chai then walk a short distance rather than taking MTR to Wanchai station and walk a longer distance.

For more info, I suggest you look on their respective websites. You may find the route, fare price and time table for the various public transport at their official websites.

hmm okok noted about the tourist pass..

for the Ding Ding Tram i just plan to try >.< because never try before.. haha dont have so much time to take so long >.< so maybe just 1 station or 2 stations.. but from the website didnt state the time like MTR...

Yea i browse the star ferry from TST already... from the web it seems like it is from TST->Central->Wan Chai.. then fromWan Chai can go back.. half day hoping rate is HKD70 im not sure is it i can hope in and out many times or only once.. so wanna know anyone ride before.. So if i want to go to Golden Bauhinia Square i stop at Wan Chai Pier? Can walk from there to Golden Bauhinia Square? This Golden Bauhinia Square is near Wan Chai station too?

My bad. It's 220HKD and have a validity of 180 days. The 3 days period only start on your first recorded journey using the card.

Not sure where you get the info, maybe you were looking at the harbour cruise. The Star Ferry is a mean of public transport between TST and HK island(Central or Wanchai). Per trip is HKD 2.00-3.00 only. I've taken Star Ferry a few times, day and night.

http://www.starferry.com.hk/services.html

If you want to go to Central side take the TST->Central, if going to Wanchai side, take the TST->Wanchai.

If you want to go to Golden Bauhinia Sq from TST, at TST ferry terminal, follow the signboard that say Wanchai. This ferry bring you to the Wanchai Star Ferry Pier and it's just 5 mins walk along the waterfront to the Square. Refer to the map in the link above and look at the "green" route.

Otherwise, the MTR station that is nearest to Golden Bauhinia Sq is Wanchai Station. However, it's at least 15mins walk, through streets and buildings.
