My HK trip was 13-19 Sept.
So the weather should be around ~28-32 celcius.
The cheap perfume and cosmetics can be found in Bonjour shop in HK.
Sales should be autumn sales but only available at Sogo.

Forecast stated cloudy and thunderstorm but none happen when I was there. It was sunny.

My itinerary is very rush de wor. Everyday wake up around 7am and sleep at 1 or 2 am due to the tight schedule. If you don't mind , I can send it to you.

If you want cheap hotel rates, can try to find at Agoda or Latestay. My 6 nights at HK/Macau only cost us appx Rm800/pax. I stayed in Hotel Emperor, Macau and Hotel Empire Causeway Bay, HK.

For Macau, nothing much except for casino visiting/gamble and also their must try food and also their landmark places.

I rather spend more time on HK cause their food specialty is much more compared to Macau.

Add : Certain casino in Macau have performance. Some are 3D.

Possible geh as the Symphony of Lights is only around 10 minutes. After that ,rush to the station and get to Central MRT.

Sky Terrace opens until 11pm while the tram station closes at midnight. As for the Madame Tussauds, it's advisable to go in around 9pm. They start to close around 9.45pm.

Basically yes. That's my time to finish the Madame Tussauds including taking picture w/ every wax figures
They purchase stuff like never ending money. If you look at how some of them "throw" money at casino, that's even worse than buying stuff.
Far or not is depending on where you stay
I didn't go to Shatin for roasted pigeon. Went to Lei Garden Restaurant instead
If you go to Shatin, you might wanna drop by Wong Tai Sin temple for a visit.

HK there's nothing much places to visit except those "char chan teng" visited by celebrities.

if you look like typical Chinese and those staffs in Tourism places will talk to you using their lousy Mandarin.. 

Sing Heung Yuen, Mido Cafe, Lin Heung Tea House, Lan Fong Yuen.

There's more but hard to list down here.

Don't worry on the food price. Just enjoy while you're at there. Won't find it here in M'sia.

definitely stay for the fireworks 

cosmo kowloon? stayed there 6 nights and came back ystday. not bad considering they got hourly shuttle bus to langham(mongkok), china ferry terminal (tsim tsa tsui), kowloon airport express.. also walking distance to olympic station, easily accessible to sunny bay (interchange to disney) and tung chung (to the buddha thingy place).
place is new and clean and exactly opposite 24hour McDonald's

free wifi at the lobby as well..

Added on September 22, 2011, 9:47 pmand a stone throw to bus stand also..easy to get to any other place in HK but i guess transportation is easy in everywhere in HK.. but the plus point is i like their shuttle bus service.. everywhere i go..i take MTR back to mongkok station and wait for the shuttle bus to go back to hotel..

Duddell street for their street lamp. It's just somewhere near LKF.

Or you can hunt for dinner/dessert

if go hk via macau should b cheaper than direct flight to hk. Last time i book AA flight to macau rm280 return flight ticket then go hk using new world first ferry services around rm70 for oneway. Ferry travel period is 1 hour reach kowloon.
