my fav ship is the silver sword, heard there's bonus ships

finished the game (didnt know abt freeplay until "EDIT" in option)... the game has arranged OST too... quite nice

really loved stage 3 - 5 (its harder and harder to dodge bullets), the bosses are super-difficult ... better use joystick than joypad???

went into superplay mode (stage 2 - omg points paradise.. i didn't know abt that) then the player scored overwhelming 15million++ points (good tactic & flying + points mgmt, in order to get the 1ups... brain hemorrhage

make me wanna search out Soukyugurentai

Btw, is there any shop selling genuine retro consoles? I find it hard to find that old school Nintendo. I miss playing Mario!

Soukyugurentai is even more punishing than Battle Garegga, but I find it less enjoyable.. when you select ship, make sure you select with A+B+C to get a more powerful and speedier ship. And did you realized the superplay player keep on dying? That's the trick, suicide at the right time to keep the difficulty down.

i've read somewhere that they implemented difficulty adjustment, somewhat can be irritating, nevertheless its challenging.

i couldn't see some of the bullets (too fast to dodge)... the last two stages are very demanding...

i also given up trying to keep up on raiden series...

For some reason I don't like Treasure shmups as much.. They are inventive but I'd just stick to the conventional shoot & dodge.

I can only reach the final stage of Battle Garegga after all these years, but my score is pretty good

Soul Hackers, The reason I take this pic is because of the red color Japanese words. It's a common knowledge the most difficult color to input and output precisely is red color, so if you could see very great details within red it is a pass. You can also see less scanlines from this pic because it's running on 480i instead of 240p.

Cotton 2, this is how normally a game looks like when running on aspect ratio. The side bars are understandable since it's a 16:10 monitor, but the top and bottom bars are quite significant because the resolution of this game is way below 240p, in fact one of the lowest I ever played. It's very common for games to have resolution below 480i/240p

omg~ this is better than what i've expected, and these games were running on 1920 x 1200 lcd panel,
i assume it will look a lot better on lower resolution screen, i want !

That's a wrong assumption, lower res panels wouldn't look any better, if not worse, if the scaling engine isn't up to par.

i never played any of these games except street fighter..

You should play Rockman X3, the last good Rockman
