I have a problem, can't read map from external memory. I know I have to move the map to internal memory but my internal memory not enuff space....

Added on March 27, 2011, 4:52 pmCan I fine any guide for papago x5? Don't know how to use sad.gif

The maps must be on the ext SD card not internal memory. Maps data are to be on sdcard/NaviSea/Maps/Malaysia folder. When you run the Papago X5 apk these folders are installed on the card
Guide to PapagoX5 - just google for manual guide - plenty you can find on the web , mostly in PDF format

recently jump ship from symbian to android meaning from garminxt to papagox5... my verdict is papago is much better in term of road maps and advantage to the junction view i just love it when it actually shows which road to take on a junction with 2-3 paths to choose...
*
Papago Pros
- junction view / lane assist
- very fast indexed searching
- looks better

Papago Cons
- cannot change your vehicle icon
- cannot input coordinates
- cannot import/export favourites
- no voice replacement available (although can make your own)
- sometimes voice navigation conflicts with map directions

Where did you download it from ? There are so many sources of download. If you are buying an original the instructions are provided. What files have you downloaded and we can guide you based on that

Post #1312 just answered the exact same question.

Those having problem getting GPS lock on Papago, try the following:

1) In map view, zoom out until just before you get to view the entire state (any zoom level that is not maximum/minimum). It should lock faster.
2) If it doesn't lock, try to simply find a POI, then set that as destination. Papago should try to route you to the destination from your previous locked position, then promptly start you from your true current location.

Do wait at least 5 minutes before giving up on step 1. If it is to verify if Papago is working fine, please allow for best weather condition before trying.

Steps are not taken from anywhere, but personal trial and error.

To verify if your GPS module is working fine, download any of the GPS apps on Market (personally recommend GPS Test) and run it. See if it detects any satellites, and if it subsequently locks. Give it 5 minutes before giving up.
