i installed papago x5
but why my location is KL instead of penang? (my location is penang, butterworth)
i need to set anything?

no need leh, make sure GPS is switched on
then wait a few minutes

as for which map to get ?
dont you think u need to know where you will be using the GPS for ?

Hi, I'm using Papago X5, and seems that it always take a (very) longer route to certain destination. before, i used garmin xt in my older phone (omnia) and it didnt behave like this.
have anyone else noticed this? is it normal? how to set it correctly if its normal? i set it to 'shortest distance'
*the maps for both devices i leeched from MFM*

i noticed the same thing too...
there are 3 settings for you to choose
try testing them out ..

The downloadable PapagoX5 for Malaysia seems to have disappeared from android market. Anyone knows why??

i downloaded and install to my Desire S, but give wrong info

Means gps not yet lock ur position. Wait a few minutes...

muslayer, i suggest that you install gpstest and run it first. Once it detects satellite, then you turn on your papago. Your papago should works now.

Just reinstalled X5 on my SE X10MP. So far so good!

..but prefer Garmin more!

Wonder when Garmin will produce for Android version.

Anyone know where I can download the user guide/manual for Papago X5 for android.

I have bought Papago H5600 with reality 7 software. Is reality 7 available for android phone also.

I am not sure whether I could ask this at here, so I will put it in the spoiler.

GPS requires satellite line-of-sight. If you're indoor, how are the satellites going to see you?

You mean the annoying startup music? Rename/delete/move this file:
sdcard/NaviSEA/Sounds/StartUP.gwv
