QUOTE(ocleo @ Nov 23 2010, 03:20 PM) Quite like the Papago X5 for SG & MY but now mine has expired and I'm wondering where I can get the full version at a discounted rate. I am using PapagoX5 on SGS but it is a trial version. Kinda like it, think it is the best GPS software for Android so far in the market. Some more the maps are free to download. I am wondering where to buy this as well. I don't want to go the website to buy it coz I don't understand the language.

QUOTE(Fornx @ Dec 17 2010, 04:39 PM) galaxy s Added on December 17, 2010, 3:40 pmwhere can i get d sd content when u first open papagoX5, it will prompt you to download map at a website. Go to that website, download the files (5 zip files) to your computer, extract all out and you will see a Navisea folder. Just copy that folder to your internal sd card. Start your papagox5 again.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Dec 21 2010, 02:13 AM) You need to run the APK file to install the program. The 5 files after extracted will create your Map contents It is TRIAL when you download from Papago website. If you want convenience get locally either buy online or at M3 stores in Msia ONLINE : http://www.m3shoppe.com/index.php?page=sho...emart&Itemid=26 M3 has many retail stores throughout Msia : http://m3asia.com/index.php?option=com_dea...alers&Itemid=65The m3shoppe doesn't want to sell to me after I told them I am running Android 2.2 and they said their PapagoX5 version only supports Android 2.1

I do find that sometimes Papago cannot initialize the GPS. Therefore you find that your satellite always blinking to no end.
What I normally do is, minimize Papago, open google map, GPS initialize (can see from the notification bar), then maximize Papago from the notification bar (leave googlemap open).

QUOTE(benny888 @ Jan 4 2011, 01:01 AM) YES you will face such problems using Galaxy S , which I have also used before I do not face such issues on my previous NexusOne, and current HD2 ( Android ) and Dell Streak oops. is it? But one thing I can't figure out is when I test with other gps apps like Aura, Waze and even googlemap, the GPS initialize immediately. So I thought it is papago app problem.

QUOTE(KHOdin @ Jan 8 2011, 12:47 PM) huh why my market dint show any result when i search for papago >.< and is not a free apps ...even if u can download can use it ? I am not sure. Sometimes you need to use marketEnabler to simulate other carriers to see all the apps. But you can always try google it and download from source or other file sharing sites. Yes, it is a trial version for you to use for 3 months after which you need to activate it.

QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Feb 27 2011, 07:06 PM) papago x5 or m7 newer ?? and which one of them is the best choice to using it anyone can give some suggestion ? As far as I know, X5 is english UI, while M7 is chinese UI. There are the same basically. QUOTE(ashwin988 @ Feb 27 2011, 07:17 PM) Guys I want an honest Opinion. I am going to change to android, mainly xperia play. I am currently using an N8 and I am very unhappy with the amount of bugs that the N8 has. Now my question is rather simple, The n8 gps system, Ovi is the best gps system on a mobile device that I have used. Its very precise. I have used papago on my Iphone and its horrible, just horrible. The thing is how do you guys find this software on your android phones? worth it? Papago is ok IMO. Maps are updated frequently and the UI is simple to use. But if you don't prefer it, there are always other choices to choose from: http://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=1669980

QUOTE(SushiBurgerX @ Apr 4 2011, 04:28 PM) RM99...X5....frankly, it's a rip-off. Even Samsung BADA has a better version in M7....and it's only RM 49.50. I won't buy it at RM99. It's just not good enough nor worth the money....just GOOGLE harder...seek and you'll find.... . Google Navigation maybe? It is free. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1007132
