I am not sure whether all branches also like that, but I can say the branches near my town is not meet my satisfication, expecially the 'infront' counter person who responsible for assign number, working attitude not good as everytime his face very dark, never smile, most important thing is his working attitude! I think it is better for them to put a small machine that giving ' number' , like others bank do. some of thier branches also using that machine, but this branch near my town(no MB in my town) has no such thing.

I think all maybank branches will have to go to the person at the counter for your number.
I do not know why maybank make it that way.

not all i think, i saw before a branch use machine, but the machine is not same with normal machine using by others bank, it is more complicated & high tech, touch screen.

yes person at the counter give number, is only works when the person is working with right attitude, responsible, good customer service mind/thinking. a person with a face seems like want fighting, talking rude, job doing bad, just like playing around, talking with friends although they are few customers lining there waiting. this is what i saw everytime i went to that branch.

I believe all branches will soon be renovated to include a desk near the main door manning the number machine. Maybank finished renovating three of their branches in my area and everyone now has to go to the front desk to get the queue number.

Honestly, CIMB Bank never get it right either. Many have complained the staff at the front desk is rude.

they is problem too if using machine, i experienced before in bank "XXX", i need to open new account, they is no such label on the machine, but open account should be under 'çustomer service' right? i took the number and waiting a couple of times, but when my turn, the customer service person told me should choose 'payment' button. ohmy.gif then i need to take new number & waiting again.

Guys, have something to ask. You know the brochures included with the card monthly statement?
Comes with promotions. The 0% Interest, phones sold by KTS Klang?

Can this be deducted automatically every month by using a debit card? smile.gif

last few months the card spoilt .. i went to public bank and they asked me to change it to a new card .. so i agreed .. charged with Rm12 ..

problem is now they replace with PB Day2Day Visa Card .. which can be used to swipe to purchase ... i asked them to replace me with the old type( which is just ATM but they say cant , now all must use PB Day2Day Visa Card . is that true ? and how do i set the limit ? in case i dropped my card and someone took it and swipe it to purchase goods or petrol zzzzzz.

No. That is not true. Public Bank is still issuing the old MEPS-based ATM card (blue color) and the new Day2Day ATM-cum-VISA debit card.

The daily withdrawal limit can be set via any Public Bank ATM for both card types. For the Day2Day ATM-cum-VISA debit card, you may also set the daily purchase limit. Please note that daily purchase limit is different from the daily withdrawal limit. Daily withdrawal limit is the one for the maximum amount of cash you can withdraw from the ATM while daily purchase limit is the maximum amount you can swipe at any places accepting VISA. The maximum daily withdrawal limit is defaulted at RM5,000/day for both card types and you can lower it to RM1,000/day, RM3,000/day etc.. As for the Day2Day VISA debit card, the maximum purchase limit can be set is RM10,000/day.

By the way, i suggest you lodge a complaint to their customer care unit.

RM250 of initial deposit. You can't withdraw the money until after 7pm or 8pm on the same day you opened the account. After that, the minimum amount must be kept inside the account is only RM1 at all time.

To be more precise,
transfer before 1130H on a working day, same day will credited into the other bank account.

if transfer after 1130H, will be the next working day.
