Hey I was trying to register MSOS for my maybank visa debit. It was done successfully on my own maybank utility page
Do I still need to register MSOS from this website? https://cardholderregistration.onlineauthentication.com.au (couldn't type the full address) Is it the same action? (Maybank just offer you to do it on your own page?) This post has been edited by jeran: Jun 12 2010, 12:21 PM |

Hello.. I've bought from Evisu International site and I've received an email asking me to give them a copy of my Driver's Licence/Passport and any utility bills (past 3 months) for security check.
What is this for? Is it legit? |

QUOTE(solsekuin44 @ Jun 17 2010, 12:40 PM) Ok, thanks for helping I don't know. The lady called me from Hong Kong asked me to email over the requested documents to them and that they will only process the payment once they have verified all the informations. Really? Why is it necessary? Like someone uses my card without my consent? QUOTE(dr2k3 @ Jun 17 2010, 01:04 PM) they don't know you are using debit card....they will treat every card transaction as credit card to protect themself Actually, they do know whether he/she is using a debit or credit card. They will find out when they process it.This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Jun 17 2010, 01:28 PM |

QUOTE(dr2k3 @ Jun 17 2010, 01:57 PM) debit card also have unauthorized transaction protection thingy? Only debit card from certain banks have such feature. For instance Hong Leong Bank VISA debit card. But based on the experience my friends had back in the States which mind you, all the debit cards there come with unauthorized transaction protection and identity theft protection. It's not really going to help when it really happens. Most of the time when you realize it, most of the money are gone and there simply is nothing you can do. |

They told me, if I were not to reply the emails with documents needed in 4 days, my order will be canceled. Another option is using Paypal, to avoid disclosing any of those documents to them.Actually, they do know whether he/she is using a debit or credit card. They will find out when they process it. But, hey.. You guys have convinced me. So, already scanned and sent the documents. |

Besides, all your card details will be made known only to you, your card's issuer bank and Paypal only. They will never ever ask you to provide a secondary document too But, hey..
