fake cable management..
all covered up by plastic board

without side panel..

with acrylic side panel..

cant afford to buy a case with nice window atm.. so, replace the whole side panel with acrylic, now i can see my fans running..

yup.. using hdd magnet.. cos it super powerful.. especially the big one on top(from maxtor 10 yr old hdd)...

like i said.. my cables r mostly covered up by plastic boards that i cut & paste.. the last pci slot is half covered by the plastic board dy & oso the board beside psu is to cover the cables from psu.. i didnt really hide them.. cos the case is just too small.. so, i called it fake cm lor.. not like u guys.. put effort to hide those cables..

i need pro help to CM my casing....

nope, it is ATX, GA-EX58-UD5. Because the casing too big so the mobo looks smaller

err, I have to use 2 different cable for HDD and DVD-rom because one cable can't reach both.

cant u position the cables on the other side of the case around the rom slots so that those can be hidden ..

most of the cable not long enuf.
including the usb, audio, 8pin and other.
the 24pin is too hard to be bend (using gigabyte psu)

if wan to route to behind need modding/cutting to the case which i dun wan
extension cable will only make it even more messy.

there is revision 2 of cable management but it also look exactly the same
but with a hyper 212 plus.

24 pin hard to bend but can one. My Xigmatek PSU also quite hard to bend the 24pin coz too many wires + sleeving

reducing fan speed can reduce noise....

u can also go to the automotive garage section and look for superlon or insuflex.

theres 6mm versions and 10mm versions.


another option would be to go to car accesory shops and look for those noise reducing foam.

reduce noise,,,playing with watercooling....

clean ur pc component?

watercooling doesnt always means quieter la...

if the pump noisy how?

if the fan noisy how?

if use Delta FFB 59dBa fan on the radiator how??

im pretty sure the insuflex will be cheaper and better than the Lian Li one...

its about the same as the akasa paxmate i have and pretty much useless... can google for review of the akasa paxmate and see....

all it did was tone down high pitched fan noise... other noises remained the same.

I only use slot 2,4,6. First slot is actually blocked by the fan, but XMS3 is small enough to go under the fan if you really wanna use 6 rams

The wire sliding around ur CPU fan can be shifted to the back side right? Thats what i did with my CM690.

u means that 4pin cable ? That wire too short.. Not enuf long to hide it at back.

Oh i see. But mine just enough. Have to take out the fan first to install the four pin.

oledi version2 ka.. hmm bad, i got do many assignment till got no time surfing the internet.. i will post my desktop later ^-^ with the add-on rducing noise stuff.. maybe ^-^

did some cable management last night... to my workstation i got so sick and tired at looking of the mess of cables and the huge piles of dust the cables collected.

took me over 5 hours to clean the dust out of every cable and mop the floor and arrange all the cables in a very tight working space...my back hurts now...but totally worth it. my workstation is so much neater now. theres even a lot less cables on the table itself now







no more cables on the floor






the aparts where the cables are "loose" and a lil messy is due to the fact that i want the cables to have a little free play so that i can move my hardwares around without worryed about the cables getting stuck or anything.

Haha, That's the fan i use in previous casing, not putting it to waste so I used it in new casing lor. Haha, i know its a bit wierd, will buy another fan next round.

if u are not changing/swapping HDD recently..

try this

terbalink the HDD, not upsidedown, but is the connector face to the right side of your casing

sure it will hide the HDD wire

the sata power cable connector is too thick that i cant route other cable into the back of it.

gonna drill some new hole for the HDD bay and move it a tad bit close to the left side panel.

Wow, really cant see ur tape worm wei. How do you keep it? I've been thinking it for half an hour trying to figure out how to hide it, but in the end gave up. LOL!

u can use 90 degree sata power connector if u want to have the HDD reverse to the other side loh...

his sata power is 90°..

and, yea... the picture too big already..

This is a Packard Bell case and it has no an HDD tray, i put the HDD in the floppy drive bay, below the DVD drive. The actual place for the HDD is case wall below the floppy drive bay. This case is small it can only fit the micro ATX board.

i doubt it is possible, cos the length of the tube seems like ngam2 only. otherwise he would've rerouted the tube like u've shown in the diagram

anyway, here's my failed attempt at cable management with an Elite 334... it's very hard to hide all the cables in this casing... any suggestions on how to improve?
