U can try separate the HDD to let them 'breathe'. The cable below HDD can do more better. Just my opinion.

It looks already okay IMO.

HDDs don't get too much hot.In this case , the large 200mm fan will keep them pretty cool.

My Humble Alienware Aurora Rig.

Still working around to play around the cables whenever I have free time. Once it's done, time to manage my Area 51-ALX instead.

Thanks to alienware's poorly designed case, the cable's can't been hidden behind (Although it's possible by cutting the case)

Opinions and suggestions are highly welcomed.

Well the interior kinda sucks in certain ways. Bad airflow. Bought both of my rig quite cheap previously so can't really argue.

Considering if I should sell the aurora off and keep my Area-51 ALX. hmm.gif

Single sleeve cables always look nice. I see there are too much cables routed just beneath the graphic card. Won’t it block the airflow? Good looking case there. biggrin.gif

A little bit. Playing around looking for the best possible set up. If not, the tools will be taken out and case is gonna be cut and drilled =p

Next up: Area 51-ALX

That casing looks like only support up to mATX... What is that extra electronic board below the 5.25" bay?

Yup only mATX unfortunately but still can use ROG GENE III and etc. Oh that is the MIO board. It's to control the lighting on the case, sensors and the fan speed for the normal case while for the ALX, it's also used to control the fin mechanism. Will take a video of my Area 51-ALX to explain further biggrin.gif

Trying to route the cable's again later today and see how it works. If not, time to drill the back of the case.

Well, to me the interior seems to more suited for pure water cooling instead as there are quite a number of mounts for it but for now it works for me. Built quality is actually not bad but it could be better.

For example, interior chasis could be powder coated instead of leaving it bare or have a proper cable management slots. The plastics are actually quite good quality except that the paint coat is quite thin. I am planning to powder coat the interior again to a different color and repaint the exterior chasis with glossy paint instead.

It has always been an awesome brand/maker until "Dell" took over. Some cost cutting saving methods is quite visible for some areas.
