How do you guys manage your cable underneath your desk? Mine looks a bit messy plus I have to vacuum so often because of the dust.

same for me. zip ties.

dont have cables on the floor coz those are dust magnets and can get very difficult to clean up.

also get cable tie base to help. but change the double sided tape with 3M grey tape so itll last longer.

Anyone tried these GPU power connector 180deg adapter from taobao? Seems like it can help to hide the GPU power cables nicely

user posted image

Also, whats the thought on those custom modular PSU cables from taobao? Is it safe to use?

Thanks sifu for sharing the evga ones. Prefer these chinese ones because it can keep the cable parallel on top of the gpu, looks nicer than cables coming out from the side of the gpu.

Ordered a set to test. Finger crossed the quality is good and won't burn my gpu sweat.gif

i wouldnt want to use them for my use as
i tend to exceed pciesig powerlimit for 6/8 pin with mod bios. so i seriously dont expect these 90% connectors will hold.. i expect them to melt etc...

6/8 connectors on gpu are well known to dislodge/unsolder if cheaply made on lower end gpu.. so hmm just too much of a risk here..

Yea I use zip ties too. But if you want to spend some money there are some other alternatives you can look for (e.g wire spiral wrap sleeves)

Actually you can use a few zip ties and connect them together to make it longer if you only have one specific length.

Just sharing my experience in cable management with the case that's good for that purpose.

Cooler Master H500M is the case that I have been wanted since it was revealed; mainly because it's not a boxxy design like many other case. Once I got this fresh on my hand, I instantly love it. So many things that I can do inside this case.

The side panel for managing cable has lots of space compare to my previous Thermaltake case. Those cover panels are definitely great to hide all cables since the side panel is tempered glass.

I don't use many tie down points there and not much of zip ties or cable ties to permanently secure the cables because I plan to swap the components very soon.
So, all of these are just temporary. That RGB fans and controller are pretty much swapped later because the controller uses molex, which is a pain and I will go for CM Halo fans with its built in SATA powered controller.

Excuse my laptop HDDs there because all my important datas are still inside after my laptop is faulty and even my 8TB worth of space HDDs already full. Also, good thing that this
case has GPU holder to un-sag the heavy GPU, which is also planned to be swapped with new RTX.
I also realized after looking at the front side that maybe I should route the ATX cable behind those steel panel instead of through rubber grommet/cutout since it's not in the optimal place.
