Great phone this one...just saw the preview in GSMARENA...HTC killed it in terms of specs for this phone..

currently using the Satio, looking at upgrading to this now...Ive been a Symbian user for a while now, hope i wont have much issues in porting over to WinMo

by the way guys...should I be bothered by the 65K colors for this unit?

i mean i read that there is color banding according to the preview by GSMArena but its not too bad is it?

I guess this is 1 of the methods by HTC to keep the costs down me thinks....

erm... , all window mobile phone also 65k color right ? but the 800 x 480 resolution not bad right ?

winmo is very easy to use.... I have one using winmo and 1 with symbian....symbian abit confusing

65k is the winmo limitation, not the screen limitation.
but i'm not sure whether the hd2 screen can go to 16m or not.

I hope its not complicated since im a virgin when it comes to WinMo

Played with Omnia 2 for a while, looks good although Samsung absolutely skinned the OS to fit their needs... u barely notice its running on WinMo until u go a few levels deep

wow DarkMage Symbian really confusing? haha i thought it was otherwise..i had bad experience with the 6.1 version totally turned me off...

I thought of waiting for X10 but it knowing SE they might just delay it again

willing to give the OS another chance here's to HTC and Sense im loving it come to daddy HD2

Just went to Queensbaymall in penang to ask the shops tehre if they know anything about this phone..

When? Next month..
How much? 1 shop = dunno.. other shop = 4k+... because euro price is 3k+

It's kinda way off... but least it's sometime next month...

basically PC fair is technology fair, so they sell many technology stuffs including PDAs, also PDA = Pocket PC, so why cant PDA be sold in PC fair with good deals?

obviously he was just crapping there.... UK's price is 499 GBP which is approximately RM2800+. salesmen are like that, they know that the phone is not out yet but they want you to buy their products, so they would tell you how bad/expensive is that phone and try to convince you to get another phone from them

Everyone just gotta start some where right? Im sure we will get use to it. HTC HD2 is indeed a good phone. Don't let the complexity of winmo stop you from owning this monster.

Gonna catch one as soon as it goes up shore ~

HD2 will definitely be around the price of HD at launch. I mean, it should be common sense, especially when the price at other countries also said so.

Unless HD2 suddenly becomes a super hot product like iPhone where everybody fight to get, then different story lah, vendors will of course sell at cut throat price.

You've got to be kidding me. The amount of application that iPhone has is nothing compared to what WM has.

Go and google the apps for WinMo and compare them with the apps that iPhone has...
WinMo's apps are tons more than iPhone's.

huh? it is true that WinMo is more complicated to use but it's functionally is indeed better no doubt.

you mean they don't have the one like iphone all put on the screen like a desktop? that i agree but once you get use to it then no problem already
