a bit out of tpoic, normally do the details of the renumeration package negotiated with contractual bonus in mind as
if we ask the details ,most of the time interviewer might not like it as they have yet to offer u. or ask after receiveing the offer letter. |

QUOTE(mot88 @ Nov 9 2005, 05:49 PM) a bit out of tpoic, normally do the details of the renumeration package negotiated with contractual bonus in mind as Ask that after in a stage where you have passed your first and second interview and that the HR calls to offer you the job. When you get the call, you may ask for the renumeration details. I know that as a job seeker, we're very curious of the renumeration package, but we must be able to resist this temptation in early stage as the interviewee (technical or management) wouldn't know on the offer in which the HR would give to you. Their role is just to see if you fit the vacancy and also to find out your preferences. Once you have passed this stages, then you may ask or negotiate with the HR about the renumeration package (because now you have proven that you're qualified to be the one they want). Try not to do it only when you see the offer letter because, when you see it, and if you're not satisfied, you would like to negotiate and the HR really wouldn't not want to change the offer letter as they will need to ask the Management to sign it again. So do it before they finalised the letter and being signed by the Management.if we ask the details ,most of the time interviewer might not like it as they have yet to offer u. or ask after receiveing the offer letter. Well, my advice is, if you're a fresh graduate, do not emphasize TOO much on renumeration package. Focus on getting the essential experience and skills first. |
