is there any time in history when company not try to underpaid??

yaya... malaysian are too selfish. see other ppl country paid. they dun hesitate to give high pay to them high paid even fresh graduate they can pay 3k. malaysian company are so stingy to give high paid. lol

yeah... cost of living keep higher n higher... but the pay still the same...

I'm an IB for ML. Salary is too gross to mention here but lets say I can buy a 3 series per month.

Bonus can be upwards to 4000%

You cannot blame companies for underpaying people. Their profits depend on controlling costs. If their payroll cost too high till affects business, then why would they want to do business here ?

If you feel you underpaid, then you have to do something about it like switch job so that your low paying job can be an opportunity for fresh grads to enter job market.

Investment banker for Merrill Lynch. Drugs makes that sort of money too though with less stress.

5 years. Preferably commercial law, but honestly anything will do. You just need to be the best.

a 3series a month is alot...sell drug (ethical) don earn tht much even with the biggest paying company in malaysia. but is it possible for a person to change industry from drug to IB (starting from low..) ?or a related qualification is compulsory ?

brtnart1, I met a lot of investment bankers in my previous life, but a large majority are males at least the ones I'm familiar with on Wall St. What's your experience?

it's quite ok since ur company pay u more than RM2k as a fresh grad.. it's about 2 months to go b4 me entering the working world.. hope to get good salary.. i expect for RM1.7k at least.. btw, im Bsc Construction management student
