Did you get the expected time for the 16GB one? Do they have 32GB in stock? I booked mine at Selayang early of the month, 123 called yesterday, Selayang told them no stock for 16GB .. hehe.. standard answer I guess.

1) meaning if outright purchase set when i use other simcard like digi the cellular network menu will show...
and if i use maxis the menu wont show..

2) and if its contract..the menu wont show even if i put in digi sim card unless i change the telco logo...

Yes guys.. you can get the outright purchase right now.
Just got mine 16GB i3GS yesterday in Gardens on the spot but had to wait for a long time.
Don't worry about the APN problem cos you can follow the iClarified instruction to install the carrier ipcc to enable the carrier settings. with this you could change the APN to avoid being charged or to change it to whichever telco you are on.

Question: even by purposely changing the APN to avoid being data charged, I still observed my data usage increasing, is that normal? or is it still being charged? I can't connect to 3G as it prompts me error in data connection. That is obviously cos I changed the APN settings.

basiclly u can get it from 32gb on the spot only..

is still the same.. no matter ur phone is outright or contract. if ur line is maxis then the menu won't show. to make it simple..

use maxis line=menu won't show
other telco line=menu show

u no need to JB ur phone to haf the telco logo. but there are some ppl who like to JB their phone so tat they can access into the system... n do alot of stuffs..

You can change your 16GB to a 32GB. That was what I did since I had no patience waiting for the 16GB. Just go the the place where you booked earlier on and tell them that you wanna exchange to a 32GB.
