I ordered mine on 1st of Dec and I need to pay RM200, this is at Maxis BB Selayang. So if they forgo the deposit, probably this is new. Still waiting patiently for the SMS now .. as always, was told that they could get the iphone earlier but I don't really trust them .. reading previous messages, it will probably > 30 days before I could get mine.

Anybody received a flyer with their Astro's bill? I don't seem to get anything in this month bill.. just plain one pc bill, they usually put in fliers in it.. but not this time. Just wanted to know what others we talking about the Astro/Maxis discount thingy.. if possible, can somebody scan and post? Cheers!

Called 123 asking if I can change my booking to 32GB to get mine straight away, the callcentre guy couldn't really answer this .. he said that I could walk to the centre where I did my booking and asked them because they don't usually allow transfer of booking etc. Aishhh!!!
Anyway, it seems that the departments that handle the booking & distribution of the iphone don't do well .. there should be first in first out ... and not sporadic .. call centre & front counters tried to accomodate us .. but the hanky panky done at the back office .. Couldn't wait for 16GB, so plough on 32GB .. happy with the decision .. dunno .. but I don't want to wait for another 30 days .. bye bye thread .. you guys won't see me posting in this thread .. but I'll be on others related to JBs .. hehehe..

Guys .. read what Intanium said, you DON'T NEED TO BOOK for 3Gs/32GB .. go to any Maxis Centres (not MEP) .. most probably they've one in stock..

WTH .. just received an SMS from Maxis saying that my iPhone is ready for collection at Seberang Jaya .. gosh.. I booked the phone at Selayang and they asked me to collect it at a place few hundred KMs away??
