I called to maxis today.. they say mine is not ready yet.. but they will help me to check with the center i placed my booking.. and will call me back in 1 or 2 days because I told them my fren who booked together with me ady got his 32gb.. (mine 16gb) and also I saw some forumer who booked at same center on 16th Nov ady get the phone too.. (I booked on 19th Nov)
hopefully they will call me this 2 days

2day i went to machines midvalley coz at tht time pass by.asked them bout their waiting period there,they say 45 days oso excluding public holidays.then i ask them 45 days max?they say its within and if ur unlucky might be over 45 days

Why don't you guys tried MacStudio in LYP. Last month I followed my fren there to book the i3Gs, they hv rdy stock for i3Gs black colour, however, my fren was looking for white one, so he made the booking, and he got it within 3 weeks time~

i think u had booked at the same location as i did. It's MEP that lack of communication with Ma**$
the good news is i had received my iPhone at 24 nov, and that time i booked on 14 oct, which more than 40 days.
and i had faced so many troublesome on getting it asap, u may check out the post i had in this thread by click on the upper right hand corner with the link Show posts by this member only.

refer back ur date of booking done, if u did make deposit payment of RM200, then u also consider being treated unfairly, so called UNFAIR TRADE. This is because there is certain road show held on Nov at different location with "small allocation" unit, really small which claimed by the customer service attended to me after i take action about this. Stories about all this can refer to my previous posts.

U might need to do something to let ur iPhone can be arrived to ur hand as x'mas gift, not new year present.

i feel like to kick the maxis butt ..
i went to the pc fair and ask somano who work for maxis there at their maxis booth..
he said that if im booked there i will get my iphone the next two days..
it just not fair..
then i asked can i pickup my iphone ther cuz im already booked my phone last two weeks at gardens,
then he sadi "if you taiko can la"..

I'm planning to get my iphone 3gs 32GB from Gardens. Is it faster to get it from there? Have anybody bought a 32GB iphone from there and what's the approximate time taken for the arrival of the phone? From what I've browsed through, 32GB has less demand and the buyer is able to get his/her phone faster than 16GB. Is it true? Any replies would be very much appreciated

im able to register idata 1 under Corporate Plan for govt staf even not bought the iPhone...coz im oredi have 1 bought from lyn member...

n then my fren got promise by maxis to deliver the iPhone 3GS 16GB within 1 week for him when he registered yesterday...

u can call this num 1 800 82 1123 from other phone..

never trust what these ppl told u.. go to a Maxis Centre..
ppl from the authorised dealers (MEP) or PC fair booth.. they are telling u nice things just to get u register.. was being told to pay some amount when asking about iphone booking at a MEP.. the amount is higher than the required deposit..
same with AT&T in US..

IMHO, just book the phone from any outlet.. if everyone are booking from the same outlet that all think will get the phone faster.. eventually that outlet will not have enuff of unit to accommodate all orders.. thus wait longer..
btw, i got mine in 19 days..

When did you lodge complain before you recieve the phone?

did and got my 16gb iphone from gardens..so far they didnt disappoint me yet..waited 26 days for it..process of booking and collecting were smooth..

One more advise, if you want to get your phone earlier, try and email them nicely stating you'll appreciate if you can get the phone earlier than the minimum of 30 days waiting period..it works for me..

Apparently giving the puppy dog eyes at the center worked for some people too AND the person that did it and got the phone was a male friend of mine.

my iphone 3gs kena white screen of death 2 days ago. I went to maxis center yesterday.. they will replace my iphone with a new one lol. They let me use the phone until the new phone arrive ;(
