IMHO (reading from comments/reviews), out of the box, no alpha cameras can better the high ISO jpeg images of a5x0 (even the v4 a700). However, if owners of a700, a850 & a900 use DxO, then thats a different story altogether.
* correct me if Im wrong, but thats the impression I get after reading the reviews and comments of a550

Its a pity that DxO is not available for the new a230/a330 series yet.

Have anyone use DxO with their a200 or a300 or a350? How is the high ISO photo after processing with the DxO ?
*
yeap... DxO is great... but good luck finding the crack version.. smile.gif

Sonystyle does offer discount in a different manner. They give the buyer back sony points and these sony points (1 point = 1 ringgit iinm) can be used as a deduction on the next purchase. Having said that, the discount isn't as much if one goes bargain hunting with the smaller shops.

sonystyle will just squeeze every drop of $$$ u have in ur wallet.... smile.gif
rather have big discount on the spot... the sony points will only entice u to lose more money to them... hahaha

somehow some of the shots look a lil bit pixelated at certain places..is that normal??

nice shots btw..

used a 3rd party picture resizer software, got this lousy result... sad.gif
original sizes (up to 24Mpx) are fine.. but just too big to upload..

maybe u take 1 photo...resize it to the same size using photoshop..to see whether its stil the same??then we can know its the size..the photo..or the software perhaps?
i know ur point..but i think might b related to the resizing sw he mentioned..coz i also editing 24mp photos recently..but i dont see those stuff even if i zoom in...sometimes even when i edit photos from a300 @ 100%..i dont see those kind of pixels too...of coz i know i'll see flaws..but the pixelated area just look diff to me..
*
pixelation is caused by the photo resizer software... some pics turns out acceptable,.. some just becomes bad.. maybe some settings.. anyway, this is just for web purpose... as long the edited ones are fine, its good enough..

talking about paid events...

some dude (i dont know him, through a mutual friend) offered me RM200 to shoot for a Chinese Wedding Dinner reception.. i was like WTF???? 200 bucks only.. crazy.. so I told him, at least RM300 as assistant, and more if I am solo...

then he send me a SMS as follows

"I got one already, can cum b4 6pm, with full framce camera,D3 nikon, just like my one, inter pro photography have to help each other, not just money,"

I wish i can know this guy with D3 camera, can shoot for 200 bucks only.. get him to work for me, i charge customer RM800, and pay him 200, minus my printing cost about 100, and i make 500 profit..

A550 very tempting lar  cry.gif But no money to buy...
For flash diffuser, lambency flash diffuser or the omni-bounce one is better? Wanted to use at event where got alot of ppl. Ceiling not very high..
*
lambency works great if there are walls near to you, as it will bounce 360 degrees.. but, best used for portrait shots, and not too far from subject, and dont forget to do some exposure compensation +0.3/0.7

for regular shots, can go for omnibounce..
