amad108,

I use back the my current stock rear spring to retain some comfort, and some more our rear chassis is light having stiffer rear maybe some time easy to over steer ...and the rear section dont bounce alot as what normal coilover spring do.

Hello there vios owner.I went to 2nd hand car dealaer and was looking for a vios G spec 03/04.i was so excited and the sales person keep pushing me to book the car.Price was around 53k

I just like to know how do we need to confirm a G spec if there is no sticker at the boot behind there.im quite scared if its an accident car or "kereta potong".

It's quite pricey considering it's a VIOS 03/04. That's about 6-7 years already & the car only depreciated about RM30k? The price should hover in between RM45k or maybe lower.

Imagine you bought the car at RM53k, you definitely needs to spend another few thousand for touch up & repairs. My advice is to go look around at another few more used car dealers, gauge the average price & you should be able to make a decision by then.

What a joke given by the SA. Okay... If it is a new car, YES you can drive it without worries but for used car, I afraid there's no such reason. People sell off their cars usually because the car is causing problems already & needs replacement parts. Furthermore you don't know what sort of changes has been done towards the car for the past 6-7 years & you're not sure of it's service records.

For average joe like us, we definitely will continue to use a car if it not giving us problems whatsoever.

RM53k is quite pricey bro. Just go survey around at a few more used car dealers 1st before making decision.

Without the G badge is even worse. The 'buntut' might have been hit from the back by another car tongue.gif Where are you from bro? I personally feel that for a car that is 6-7 years old & depreciates only RM35k is quite expensive.

i think for 03/04 vios max go for 50k only, 53k is bit pricy. i saw most ppl only take out the alphabet "E" but not "G" so u have to becareful on this case.

James if you want cheaper and nice performance tire which is more comfort then you should try Hankook V12 Evo although the stock is low but you can give it a try at RM200++, it's performance as tested in 215/45 R17 with Opel Corsa it beats quite a numbers of competitors including Toyo T1R and Yokohama S Drive...

Bro Vios R1R is too much for us la... max category is ok already as we drive in normal days also, those Extreme series is not that good in wet and most of us is not expecting to drive less than 80km/h in rain...
well i started with 33 PSI in front and 32 PSI at the back... but now i put 34 PSI in front and 32 PSI at the back it handles better...
for me it is not bumpy even though my NCP42R has harder suspension setup than urs... the tire pressure is very individual preference lo, try it about 33 PSI in front and 31 PSI at rear 1st then increase 1 PSI every week to try... if you fine it is a lil hard then lower back to last week setting...

* Remember tire pressure should be monitored every week and you should not drive more than 1km to ur nearest point it pump/check ur tire pressure... if more than 1km u should add in 1~2 PSI to compensate the hot air expansion in the tire... normally i add another 2 PSI... lastly do ur tire pressure checking and add in more pressure in the morning not afternoon or evening...
*
yalor, even raining i still drive around 100-110km/h but not on cornering...
about the tire i think i getting 15" size.. since i gonna change to 15"rim... is more than enough for me daily use...
juz wanna let my car be more stable not like so call sampan when driving only...

@hunter, yes its very expensive for this car. surely the SA will say no problem for this 1, no major service needed in the short-run, excellent condition and bla bla bla, afterall, he just wanna sell u that car and make money, right?

make your decision wisely. 05 city was doing bout your prices, so really hold me back with your SA.

Also consider the fact that TRD / G spec vios comes with 15" rims whereby J/E spec vios comes wth only 14" rims.

that is within 5mm difference la... can neglect it... maybe that person change shocks already

too expensive if 03... should be less than 50k my fren got a car from the owner Vios 03 G spec around RM45k only, further more mileage less than 70k coz they are from a small town...

they will not do that... they will only use Genuine Toyota Parts or Products (or Toyota Approved) , no 3rd Party parts or products in SC

2ndhand car for toyota n honda brand should not as worst as proton n perodua...
for its 'potong' or not that can check at puspakom, b4 buy izzit they should test at puspakom 1st?
u need to bring friends that are mechanic for him to check certain place n engine bay... while test drive u need to test drive fast n slow, also dont forget the hard braking, but bring people who know cars a lot is recommended..

without emblem could be something fishy, so even with a small doubt just forget about that car n search other car.. searching 2ndhand car need a lot of time n thinking, so take all the time u need.... wink.gif

Thx to brought this up whoeva is this, i guess pictures tells thousand words and what we can comments here is different individuals expect for vary level of services or products which unmatch with the cost paid, allow me to post few words before you judge. smile.gif

customer comments:
1. GT Spoiler
a. As clearly stated in our website or in forum what is included in the package which NEVER mention about spoiler, as to provides better service and sastisfaction,(ONE)1 pcs of painted TRD spoiler (worth RM2++) given away as FREE to the customer.

2. Marking
a. Its was a tiny digit (3) mark underneath of the back skirting which never can be seen after installation which indicates the skirting printed from manufcaturer, obviously not crack or something. As return, we cover it and respray it (worth RM8+)for FREE.

3. Installation
a. Again its clearly stated in website, INSTALLATION  & PAINT is OPTIONAL service which buyer free to choose take away on cash & carry basis or installation carry by another panel workshop which has been told. As return, we do the installation for (worth RM1++)FREE to the buyer at last.

4. Gaps??
a. Kindly check on the pics attached, enlighten us where are those HUGE gaps as mentioned?? As return, we again provides a (worth RM1++)FREE rubber lining with white color sprayed.

Rexxstyling trying every possiblities from different angles to provides best sastisfaction which far beyond what they paid for.
Even so, customer has a right and freewill to talk/comments anyway and we believe only wise comments shall be taken, furthermore level of sastisfaction is merely the same for every individuals.

Thanks.
