for those old owner do you all still send your beloved vios back to service center even the car already 3 years??
now i still in the dillema situation by should i send my vios back to service center or just send it to outside bengkel?? suggestion pls all vios owner.
if still under better send to service center, after warranty still can send to service center just for peace of mind since they more trustable. if u know the bengkel owner very well then u can send to them too. but if got any serious problem better send it back to toyota service center sweat.gif

Overall the best top speed i can obtained is 180kmh on straight, although the car was quite nervous, perhaps some thicker anti roll bars and front strut bars may be needed in future.
i dont think strut bar will increase the car stability on high speed (maybe im cant really feel it? unsure.gif ), it only improve stability while cornering. i had installed front, front lower, rear, rear lower, side lower bars. smile.gif going to change suspension system soon to increase stability. biggrin.gif

Bro... i did test drive a Vious v Autofoam. Still cant eliminate the noise tat annoying me.
sound proof eliminate wind noise more than autofoam i guess. since sound proof covering almost the whole car while autofoam only fill into the body chasis.

nowadays, i frequently use the 3rd gear...thus it affected my fc badly
anyway, which voltage stabilizer is the best for vios? sun auto vs guangdao?
dont invest on VS. i dont think this thing will improve performance on vios. well, maybe yes for older generation car?
spend ur money on grouding cable better.

but some ppl like that man... y not try to put APM performax??? it is slightly harder than stock... i tried in my SEG works fine... u change on absorber isn't it without spring???
now my front using sport absorber and rear using original. this setting quite stable even when running at 160km/h , not as bouncy as last time.
yes without spring, still using the old spring.

my parent just bought a new vios this month
got some question here:

is the new vios engine sounds louder than the old 1?
is the pickup power of the new vios lower than the old 1?
and how about the FC of the new vios comparing to the old 1?

i think that my dad car got some prob
same engine, pickup power and FC i think old vios "abit" better since old vios has lighter body.

Hello there vios owner.I went to 2nd hand car dealaer and was looking for a vios G spec 03/04.i was so excited and the sales person keep pushing me to book the car.Price was around 53k

I just like to know how do we need to confirm a G spec if there is no sticker at the boot behind there.im quite scared if its an accident car or "kereta potong".

Anybdy can help me please?
i think for 03/04 vios max go for 50k only, 53k is bit pricy. i saw most ppl only take out the alphabet "E" but not "G" so u have to becareful on this case.

QUOTE(Thrust @ May 2 2010, 02:45 PM)

My Vios is going to hit 40k soon, wounder have anyone done their Autogear oil change??? I hv never change it since i bought the car. Do we need to change the gear oil filter also??? Please help...
atf oil is far cheaper than a gearbox, better change it or u will regret. i change every 20-30k.

QUOTE(cybermaster98 @ Nov 3 2010, 11:34 AM)
My Vios is 7.5 yrs old (1st generation). So far its been problem free. Car is well maintained. But lately ive been hearing a knocking sound from the front especially when turning or braking. Or doing both at the same time. Its not there always but on and off. Ive sent to Toyota to check but they cant find the problem because when i took it in the noise wasnt there.

Can anybody give possible causes to this problem?
my car has numbers of noise from "che kiok", after i changed engine mounting and lower arm bushing, most noise is gone and my car works like new car. when the technician take out the mounting and show me, its totally cracked sweat.gif better change engine mounting and all these bushing becoz the car is quite some years already, hope this useful to u. smile.gif
