Actually I'm facing same problem for the exhaust hook corrosion around 1 month, i complain 2nd time, they only help me to paint it. N I said since it is corrode already, paint is just to cover, and it is possible that the exhaust to fall down 1 day. And they replied wouldn't. The worst is, my ATF tank leak oil without any reason, at around 13k km. I request and complain for new ATF fuel and replace new cover and seal for the ATF, they said suspect to be gasket problem. I'm quite disappointed with the QUALITY! And now my millage around 21k km only, rattling sound everywhere. I'm going to complain again regarding this until. Vios is not really a cheap car, it should provide at least some quality and durability! I do own 1st generation Vios, the quality somewhat better.

Where did u serviced ur car? Sounds like u got a lemon car attended by bad mechanics.

Erm… I’m personal think new vios quality in medium. As my car running about 110k, so far everything running smooth…

y should they do this when they design a VIOS for southeast asia people and yet so many people buy?

Vios is a cheap car only becoz of the tax structure and also over priced by GLC company make it expensive haha... it is selling around Aus Dollar 15k only about RM60k here with Australian tax and also profit

My dugong already 60k km. No problem except:
- going over bump *fast* and got the sound 'buk'.
- when parking on slanting surface (head top, rear facing bottom), I jump in the car and I got 'nyek nyok' on rear suspension.
- very dirty rear wind screen - no idea why it gets dirty so easy compare to all the other cars I 'owned' before.

my one also 60k plus, no problem but same like yr 1st & 2nd items. however hv replaced my real both absorbers, now feel better. SC also inform me come back and replace yr both front absorbers in yr next 70k service, all replacement is free of charge.

Hello , may i ask , Switching the suspension or the other meaning : lowering the car,

will it void its warranty?

and too speakers installation , including AMps....will it void it too?

reading the manual of the car, the battery warrantty is 1yr... if jsut before 1yr, we make complaint on the battery, will they replace it for free???? hihihi... any1 tried b4?

remember it does not void the others component warranty... only suspension system warranty will not be covered...

I serviced my car at kuching, the only toyota service centre in Kuching. They seems somewhat ignore my complain at 1st. I called to main branch of SC for Toyota regarding the complain, and they only concern about my complain and sometimes call to ask my car condition, and the regional branch manager and customer complain department take serious action for my complain. But after a year, some of the problem still exist. About the problem of driving over bump create gok sound, i'm also facing the same problem. Complain to SC and they replace the front suspension, now it is better, but still unavoidable if driving fast(like 35km/h) over the bump.

Damn lol...Have u guys realized that TRD spec vios `s suspension is abit higher than normal vios? Coz mine park beside a J spec, their rear is ALOT lower than my trd spec...no mod have been done to the J spec

might can as still under warranty, but at least show the reason lor, i think quite hard to comment the reason while u still can start yr car. You can not say battery is weak already and request for a free replacement.
it is easy replacement for absobers as u can say got 'knot' sound when pass a bump with low speed.

that y i'm intend to change my suspension system, of couse my main reason is for getting good handling indeed.

ok, this coming TT you coming? maybe u can try out few vios with Titan ...

well it should not be but i think is almost similar... coz body kit make the ride look lower already so to get the clearance they wanted they need to make it a lil higher to avoid scratching the car's structure everytime u go over a bump...

Also consider the fact that TRD / G spec vios comes with 15" rims whereby J/E spec vios comes wth only 14" rims.

doubt that day (sunday) got working, will pm u in the next week.

easy u can take MC dont apply for leave boss sure reject...
