boat shoes not very popular nowadays,
if u dont mind buying online,
i bought sperry and sebago from zalora before.
they are legit.

Yeah, I did find Sperry on Zalora. Thought I could find a physical shop first, but Zalora is out of size for me now. Oh well, i'll wait.

The dainite soles on the Carmina are incredibly comfortable. This is contrary to what I've read online where many have said dainite soles are hard and uncomfortable. But then again I think I've also read that Carmina doesn't really use the real dainite and it's just made to look like one. It's very grippy on dry surfaces but somehow becomes really slippery on wet and flat, smooth surfaces.

Makes me think I should just go with rubber soles from now on.

Does the sole actually say dainite or no?

Dainite soles are meant for the country dirt roads.Malaysia has a lot of unpaved dirt roads,can liao
