What is "go to overseas"? Go there for leisure purpose? For training? For project? From your description I dont see your offer being any better compared to your current. The title "management trainee" might just be another gimmick that most companies use.... (the title "management trainee" is intensively misused nowadays)

Some forumers adviced the allowance is not considered as a package when u jum ship in the future and new company only considered your package is basic without added in your allowance.
Is it true. Please advice. thank you very much.
*
i guess it depends. if you are required to work in shift, then i think you can consider, allowance as part of the package.

i think it also depends on how you bargain/nego with the new co. smile.gif

Mind to share what sector are you in? 3k travel allowance is crazy man. No Co. will believe that if you base in office. Generally will think the 3k is the business travel claim then part of ur income. 2k+3k really doesn't make sense.

BTW wat post you interview in Sime Darby?

Very easy solution, earn less, then spend less. If earn less still spend more, then you looking for trouble.

In 2001, I earn only RM800 in Subang. But still able to save some money. It really depend how you budget you expense.

Even fresh grad (Singapore uni) get that amount.

Obviously they pressed your salary because you are considered as foreign workers like bangla or indon....

no company will treat you as an expatriate or send you for oversea assignment until you demonstrated outstanding work performance to them. Don't worry TS, join 1st, proof to them your worth and move up from there. keep up the spirit

1. Is it because your cousin owns a tuition centre and that's why he earns RM15K? Impossible to earn this figure if he is working part-time as tuition teacher.

2. Yes. Hawkers, fishery industry do earn lucratively. Moreoever, they earn CASH money EVERYDAY, aka how much you sell today, how much you earn today.
