QUOTE(bob_afdlin @ Oct 24 2009, 04:51 AM) 2.8 for 3 years of experince, i think is low.. summore u are expatriate dude if work on another country QUOTE(abc2005 @ Oct 25 2009, 12:46 AM) The Sg. comp. treats u as a cheap labour instead of expatriate. QUOTE(knwong @ Oct 25 2009, 09:01 AM) no company will treat you as an expatriate or send you for oversea assignment until you demonstrated outstanding work performance to them. Don't worry TS, join 1st, proof to them your worth and move up from there. keep up the spirit i ask few of my IT friends working in sg, apparently most of them were in the same range..well, the offered salary range can't really attract me. i was offered the job by a head hunter, so i expect the offer should at least match what i got here (no currency conversion).

QUOTE(static @ Mar 7 2010, 11:33 PM) Wow, i had a chat with my senior, 4 years older than me about my current salary (3.7k - with allowance - contractual, no epf, etc) - i've only been working about 1.5 years. And he said, wah quite low. -___-" He is on a contractual basis as well, shit. Am i underpaid? Really ruined my day. 3.7k is not underpaid even though without epf, but also depends on your industry and company as well. 3.7k - 400 (epf) = 3.3k, pretty decent to me

QUOTE(deeplyheartbroken @ Mar 12 2010, 11:06 AM) Just want to ask whether can file constructive dismissal on a case like this; 6) When the person threathen to resign (as he cannot absorb or stand anymore), the HR & accounts head (while the superior now don't care & play cold war) offer to pay back only 50% of the claims. Somehow the person accepted due to urgently need the money. The HR & account also force the person to sign an agreement that he will not take the case to sue regarding the claim. Anyhow, the person already resigned for some time now. So he probably can't file anything against the company, but just want to ask whether he got a chance back then. Please share. The moment he sign the letter, he got no case at all.
