now, without adjust at the bios, my new ram can boot up n run in window oledy.. but at the bios it show ddr800 ony..  n the vdimm 1.95v.. i saw at the cpuz, the timing is 5-7-7-24-31-2t.. why this happen? i saw at the side of ram show the timing 5-6-6-18-24-2t n vdimm is 2.1v...

so, i follow xixo setting, change to ddr 1066, n change the timing to 5-6-6-18-24-2t n set the vdimm to 2.2v.. is it ok since i touch the ram n it feel hot oledy??

to change or not to change? currently thinkin of joinin bro cloudwan as gaygaybite fans...

experience told me if one uses ddr1066 divider, he gotta sacrifice on timing. better use ddr800 divider + htt oc to clock it up to 1066, can have tighter timin & possibly higher mileage. 

BE was design for lazy overclocker.. i prefer to HTT overclock

I dun burn...i just set desired voltage and speed on the rams...the alter the timings....then boot into windows see if can...

But before booting I usually memtest first...

Test 8 around 4 loops, then only i boot into windows...

In windows I memtest again using windows memtest, to see if got any errors...I use multiple instance of memtest to allow almost all of the memory being tested (although in WinXP 32-bit you won't be able to test all of your rams)...

If stable I restart, change Cpu-NB speed/multiplier to make it run around 2600>2800....increase CPU-NB volts around 1.3-1.35, this depends on your internal memory controller...I set mine at 1.35v just to avoid any inconvenience..The boot into windows...Prime Blend for 10-15hours...then reboot, set CPU pulak... Around 3700 only needs 1.4v my CPU...more and I have to go around 1.5 which is pointless just for 100-200mhz....

stability test a? owh.... since i saw u always prime long hrs, i tot its like burn in...

CPU i can really feel the diff before and after burn...but ram, sometimes i feel like burn it not helping much...

Nope...just for stability...

I seldom do burn in unless I know the specific chipset or chip requires a burn-in process in order to work...Such as UTT BH-5 back then when out of the box you would get tons of errors if you would set it to 2-2-2-5...
