Why dont you try to hard-boot your iPhone. Turn off your iPhone and then Press the lock button and Home button together for 10 seconds.

I have the same problem as u. My iPhone is not jailbroken. So basically we can rule out that reason.

Help!! I am so nervous now.. It's my 1st time Jailbreaking my phone n smth bad happened ><....... I am using 16gb Maxis 3GS... I used blackrain to jailbreak my phone on firmware 3.1.2... It was all smooth and i thought Jailbreaking was really easy... Just when i started downloading smth... The 1st thing i downloaded is winterboard.. After dowloading, it says it would reboot my phone.. Then after rebooting, the phone can't be turned on anymore ><...... Urgent need of help!!

Problem solved: Somehow I managed to reboot the phone by clicking the home button for a really long time ><.. tat really scared me for a bit... could anyone explain whether this is normal or wat?

What'd u mean by when plugged in? AFAIK as long as the phone is asleep, everything is turned off; whether it's plugged into a power source supply unit or not.

is it safe to us to use the usb charger to charge the i phone. the usb charger that i mean is the charger that connect to the power supply.not the usb that connect to the pc directly

I was thinking, how do I backup my files such as contacts, pictures, notes, calendars and such? Is there any program that is simple or something like a iPhone PC suite for it?

Gosh...mixed up of terms, tinkerbel. My 'Sleep' mode actually meant 'Standby' mode (screen goes blank into energy saving, not turned off completely).

It's definitely weird because Internet Tethering shouldn't affect Maxis users; I heard about it being disabled on non Maxis sets but this is my 1st time I'm hearing it on a Maxis unit. Perhaps U can reboot ur phone and see if it magically reappears

So are U saying that when your screen goes into 'energy saving' mode [and ur system is not in sleep mode] ur wifi turns off? Hmm... now that doesn't happen on my end; but my phone goes into sleep mode soon after the screen turns black so maybe I just haven't noticed? *shrugs*

My iphone 3g can send mms . But cannot received pliss need a fast answer

Have you checked if your settings are right? Also, sometimes it is not the problem of the phone but the telco network.
