Why dont you try to hard-boot your iPhone. Turn off your iPhone and then Press the lock button and Home button together for 10 seconds.

You need to release the power button, and keep pressing on the home button for 10 seconds to put your iPhone on restore mode.

Oh, yeah yeah there is sound when you shake it vertically. Sorry, i was listening to audio when i tried it, and i couldnt detect the sound on first attempt. I reckon its the accelerometer sensors.

That sounds completely normal, but that depends on the usage. If you just use the iPhone for calls and sms, it would last 2 days, but for heavy usage, 3 hours is enough to deplete the battery.

Because of the sound made, when he shakes his iPhone vertically. Like a rattling sound. Please do check the previous page for his comment about this issue.

Or try to set the iphone on Airplane mode, for 10 seconds, and then turn it off. It would reset the network database, and would reconnect you to your service provider.

Yeevelin, if youre on a mac. You can use Garageband to make ringtones out off your favourite tunes, and import them to itunes. Then on, you can sync them to your iPhone smile.gif

Added on October 21, 2009, 6:01 pmIf im not mistaken, i Ringer is a Windows app, with extension .exe . It is pretty easy to use too, if youre on windows that is.

I reckon it harnessed your 3G/EDGE to push your emails sad.gif

You should go to Settings -> Networks->

And disable 3G. About EDGE, i know a way, but im sure, im not allowed to talk about it here.

I reckon you need to buy some dongle, peripherals

That depends on which set did you buy. If you bought the official Maxis set,

then the warranty implies within domestic, that would mean, you could only

issue your warranty problems with Maxis.

So does the international warranty applicable at Malaysia?

Yes you are right. With reference to nokia2003's post as well claims that it is applicable

within Malaysia.

Do tell us what method are you using, are you on windows or a mac?

And which version of the iPhone you are using. Then only we can try to troubleshoot

your problem.

http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=4255

Follow the instructions there. And you'll be safe and sound, but this is for Mac. Do search the website for the tutorial for Windows.

Its a gone case, unless you want to spill some money to get yourself a new LCD touch enabled screen, which would cost a bomb since iPhone 2G is out of phase.

What do you mean. You could be more specific like providing a screenshot of what happens. Press the Home button together with the On/Off button to take a screenie.

Probably it is because too much processes happen at the same time on your phone, like mail, safari, ipod, phone and et cetera. Try to master reboot the iPhone, and see if it annoys you again.
