On the new computer, go to iTunes --> Advanced to give authorisation to this new computer and voila everything will be re-synced as per your earlier iTunes account

On a non-JB iPhone, when the phone goes to sleep, everything turns off, just like when you put a computer to sleep. It's not a bug, it's been like this ever since I started using the i3G.

try plug in to charger and after a few minutes do a hard reset.(Power sleep/wake +home)
If still cant then google up i recovery to kick it out of restore or dfu mode.Dont know if will help but can try troubleshoot above.

is 3.1.2 really problem free, guyz? What are the bugs they fixed with this release? I've no complains whatsoever on my 3.1 JB now, hence, worry the risk i'm taking...

Problem Encountered : signal bar change to 'no service' when switch to 3G
Steps Taken So Far : just reboot the phone and everything become normal

Just wanna know wat happen? it happen quite frequent

There are times where it takes a much longer period to search 3g service. That cause the phone to trigger no service. Leave it alone for a minute and it will resume back to service either in 3g or edge.

but i did leave it for like 10min++s... it still showing no service
now new problem occurs, even now got 3G coverage.. but safari shown that " cannot open the page because it is not connected to internet"
could it be the problem cos i jailbreak my phone?

acid_head, just try to reset network settings n see if it works.

juz called to maxis, they reset the network for me... but still cant surf net...

You do a manual network reset on your iPhone. Go to Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings

problem solved via this method, but sometimes it still can't connect surf net too... once i reset it again everything turn back to normal, done this like 3 times in 1 hour

but still in 1 hour observation, will observe more on later. thx anyway tinkerbel

I used the "Erase all Content and Settings" option to format my iPhone. However, I forgot to plug in the cable and my iPhone ran out of battery halfway through formatting. Now I try to plug in the cable to charge and continue, but the apple logo would come out for a few seconds before shutting down again! What has happened? Can anyone help? Search the web but couldn't find any similar cases.

i'm thinking to buy iphone but was told that iphone can't run java, is it true?

if yes then it'll be big let down because i can't access live sshare market trading website that use JRE (java run time), right?

im not very into stocks, but mine iphone comes with a built in app call stocks, where i can see the prices

u mean can see the buy/sell price and quantities?

also can java applcation be installed to iphone after it was jailbreaked?
