Yes, if you restore from backup, everything will be backed up and restored including SMSes.

1. Tap Setting icon
2. Tap General
3. Tap Network
4. Tap Cellular Data Network
5. Tap APN, Username and Password field

Is it we need something call iphone configuration utility ?

i JB using Blacrai1n and it took me around less than 30 sec.... i cant still believe it... that is why i said its the easiest JB ive ever encounter.....

I am using OS 3.1.2. I check my Tether before JB and the option is there.

I've change my sim card yesterday but the problem persist! I've done several troubleshooting and I found that, whenever I'm in EDGE area, the call will drop but not 3G. I'm as supp of 1+5 and my principal with iPhone also had this problem using 3.0.1 FW

I think it's a bad combination also. Done all the troubleshooting that I can but to no avail. Still trying though
I've enquire about 64K and 256K simcard, apparently they stop producing 64K already and 256K they said most of the phone still not compatible yet.

There's several problem same like yours. This issue is on 3.0.X FW so they suggest to update to 3.1.2

Did the settings just disappear over night? Hmm... the settings will disappear if you update Network Settings [via iTunes download] but that is only for Maxis users. Were u previously NOT using Maxis?

it just stuck a while, the only solution is relaunch the app/ safari
maxis dun have such problem?

Hello guys...

Just updated the 3.1.2 firmmware.

By the way, I would like to update ion my previuos findings updates. previously I posted up that when swith 3G to edge and switch back to 3g, call cannot come unless I turn off and on back the phone.
This was one of the issue address in 3.1.2 firmware update.

After i update I can received call but the battery consumption has become worse compare to previous 3.1, Is this normal ?

I need to find a phone shop that KNOWS how to repair/replace the case of an iphone. I bought an original casing from overseas and got a shop to change however they couldnt and actually messed it up (there are gaps now) so I really need to locate a shop that has succesfully replaced the casing before.

Im using iPhone 3gs with maxis data line. So far I do not find any problem with maxis data line. Places where there is 3 g gives me a real fast speed compare to edge. Mine is not jailbreak.
Anyway, I've experiencing problem if I keep switching 3g to edge, my phone will somehow show no service and I need to reset it to get the line back. So what i do now is keep my 3g on all the time.
Mine is using the latest fw 3.12

Uiks the bold part is true....come to think of it...i always got this miss call message....but no call coming thru....using celcom unlimited data plan as well....

wi fi off
application only running on main apps only

hope that apps for battery management will come out soon

Basically you do not need to reset the phone as the phone itself will auto search network. Wait around a minute will do.

Hmm ... okay... maybe i'll leave it on next time but a minute isnt it is too long?
