When is the best percentage battery to charge Iphone 3GS? 30%?

Hello everyone, just wondering if any iPhone 3G/3GS in white face any hairline cracks on their back? mainly the power switch, headphone jack and the cable connector area. My unit is just 1 week old and hairline cracks have already appeared on the phone.

hai guys, wanna ask sumthing about maxis warranty...
i saw many lyn member say that maxis warranty can be claim without the owner come...but today i go to Time Square Maxis Center ask about the warranty for maxis set, they told me MUST be the owner come to claim...
izit nid to change ownership or not? a bit confuse...

Thanks for your reply, teikwing. Just out of curiousity, can we replace it under warranty? As far as I'm concerned, users overseas can claim this under warranty and Apple Stores gave them an exchange unit on the spot.

is there another way i can call without adding contact to favourite list?
cos now when i clicked a contact in the contact list it'll go to the contact profile instead of calling  them

Need to check on something..

Sometimes I turn off 3G and on to edge to prolong battery life...My problem is when I turn on 3G setting back, the phone will display no service........ In order to get back the connection, I need to turn off the phone and on back.. Then only i get the srvice with 3G signal..

Is this a common things on I phone 3GS...

I can't change Maxis due to commitment but I need to know whether the problem is common and is it phone problem? If yes, I need to get replacement. Is it common problem among forumers?

No point trying other operators because I cannot change. When I off the 3g function in iPhone, I can use it as normal.

One last thing, how do i save those contacts from my phone to my sim card?

dear all, new ip 3gs user here. Need some advice on "Activate & Register Your iPhone". When I got my ip at maxis center,
the staff there help me to activate so  that I can make a call (i dono how they activate). My question is should i register again in
Itunes/ coz when i login itunes it keep prompt me to register. Is the Iphone number refer to our maxis hp number? My concern is if Maxis
already help me activate/registe, if i do it again may cause any conflict. Sorry for noob question, if this issue been raised before, pls

Recently i am experiencing very slow downloads in itune and the link keeps on broken. The same goes to accessing the Apps Store as it take very long time to load up the page.
The worst part is i am unable to update the newest firmware as the same error msg 'The network connection timed out, Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again'. My internet connection is fine and able to surf and download from other website but always having problem with itune downloads.

Anyone can shed some light on this issues?

You DO know theres a log in the phone that shows how many times the phone was restored and other datas?

a quick question abt setting>general>usage>time since last full charge

my phone was fully charge last night and initially there are figures for both usage and standby

after install some cydia app and respring, the usage and standby become "-"

bt once after full charge the figure shows again.

does this consider normal?

when i on the iphone.display on screen shows 'springfield cracked n must restart'.
why it happen?is it because it drop on floor or it normal for the iphone 2g?
is it everythg settled by only restart?
