Make sure you also have Location Services turned ON in Settings>General

tried jz now.the phone still direct me to the wrong place for current location.i cnt drag the blue circle oso

It's frustrating each time I start iTunes, it'll start to download. I can't seem to delete it..

I have been using FORUMS app to access many local and overseas forum which support phpBB, vBuletins, etc

But unfortunately can't access Lowyat forum..

Does anyone found a solution?

help!anyone their fake apn still working?i got a problem 2day~
before that the fake apn work for me when i click on safari,it will show "cellular data cannot...."but 2day morning i change back to origin apn to use internet for a while,but when i change the apn to fake word,it didnt work again,it stil can surf net or go itunes..wats wrong is this?i oredy try to change sim and change back again,still the same!currently maxis and fw 3.1.2!
any1 help?!

1st, connection drop..
2nd, cant' detect at all

restore, reset network setting.. doesn't help much. sigh

am i the only one having this type of problem?

I have the same problem as well. I cant even connect to the free Apple Store wi-fi. And this problem have been going on for more than 2 months.

my previous set face this kinda problem.. so, claim for warranty.. then get a new set..

n later on, this new set of mine, face the same problem again.. i try air plane mode on and off. wifi on and off, sometime, it can detect the wifi..

less then a minute, its gone..

Do not know the actual situation with your new phone but I doubt very much it has the same problem as your previous one since you could still periodically detect WiFi. Perhaps you could do a full restoration and see how it is. Also, ensure you test it in a strong WiFi place to know for sure.

step taken

1. full restore
2. reset network setting
3. place side by side router
4. on and off airplane mode ( able to detect wifi then later on, loss the signal )

as for the step 4, im start wondering, either it is fw problem..

as far as i remember, my previous phone become prone to wifi loss signal after update to 3.1.2.

Well, i check online and there are three ways that is successful.
1 Send it back to Apple Sore if u still have warranty.
2 Put it in freezer for a couple of minutes, and your wi-fi could work for a couple of minutes to a couple of hours
3 Download and buy some wi-fi app.

So far, the results have been touch and go. It might work for some but not all.

I cant send it back to the Apple Store because mine is the 1st generation i.e my warranty died one year ago. And i jailbreak and unlock my iPhone. So that sucks for me.

1.maxis took 1month or more for this..my previous unit took 1 month n 22 days..
2.cannot wo.. nanti masuk air dalam tu.. then straight away void the warranty.. several case happen like dat..
3.wi fi app detect, then its gone..

look like, en0 and en1..

en1 is for cellular data..

en0 is for wifi..

both statement is my assumption from iphone SDK to retrieve IP..

i belive applemrvl868x is the culprit.. my initial guess,would be, fw problem.. not an hardware issue..

and for the fw update, i dun think Apple will release a new fw.. sigh.. blank

Oh i meant deleting every other apps on that page except for stocks.

how to disable the cellular data?
i simply type username n APN inside cellular data n it works
but today i saw tht my RM10 credit gone n found out my phone can access data..i tried change APN n username but still can surf the net..
any idea?
