Added on December 25, 2009, 3:04 pmJust wanted to share well there will be a conference by Apple on the 26 Jan but it is mainly for the Apple tablet..however for iPhone there will be a huge launch of new games by the great developer with higher graphic and resolution. Moreover, for the next iPhone release on the summer there are possibillity of 5megapixel camera on it..because apple had order the chip set for it as what they did last year 3.2 mp for 3GS....hope apple comes out with impressive stuff..

Hi Guys... wondering if anyone is facing this..

i am a new iphone 3g user... not jailbroken yet..

I have followed the threads in this forum to turn off 3G & EDGE or provide a fake APN via Cellular Data Network (ipcc). Problem is even when that is done the phone is still able to use EDGE to retrieve data and suck all my credits away (hotlink)

does anyone know how to stop this? or is this also happening to them?

and its still using EDGE... can't seem to shake off iphone from using mobile provider's data network... help...

will anybody can tell me using wifi on Iphone when wifi low iphone will automatic jump to 3G or edge even we did'nt sign any 3G service and the setting on networking all is OFF?? or even MAXIS block all service on their side the Iphone also can detect back themself??

Its a gone case, unless you want to spill some money to get yourself a new LCD touch enabled screen, which would cost a bomb since iPhone 2G is out of phase.

remove the playlist in your itune then sync again? hmm?

You can try iRinger to convert into ringtone. I'm using it to become ringtones.

As mention in the title, my 2G iPhone dont seems to be able to find any wi-fi connection at all. I tried everything. The problem starts even when i am using fw 2.2.1. And it seems to continue in the current fw. I even ask the Apple Store Genius when i was in U.S, and they told me that it might be due to the fact that i jailbreak my iphone.

As for the call problem , sometimes when someone is calling me, my phone wont even vibrate and the screen wont even show anything. Although everyone that calls, told me that they can hear the dial tone, but I dont seems to be able to receive them.

Problem Encountered : "Internet Tethering" option is missing
Steps Taken So Far : Reboot the device and tried other SIM

Other Information/Remarks :

"Internet Tethering" option has always been there and turned off after I JB'ed my iPhone with blackra1n. This afternoon, I turned it on and then selected "USB" as connection method. After that, I'm not able to see "Internet Tethering" option anymore.

I've tried rebooting the device and using other SIM card but it still not there.

Any idea? Restore and re-JB would be my last choice..
