How do you rate avr467 pairing with wharfedale 9.1 frontspeaker?
Will be saving for a decent subwoofer and surround in the future. |

Seong @ Jan 17 2011, 08:33 AM) Type of BD player is Philips2100.I tried with my media Player Eaget M6 also no signal. Previously when both BD and Media player direct to LED TV, no problem. Added on January 17, 2011, 12:04 pm QUOTE(LoonFay @ Jan 17 2011, 10:00 AM) it can support 7.1ch by connecting additional external stereo amp to the preout . Yes, changed to TV source to HDMI of course. In fact, i tried all the 3 HDMI input at TV.Added on January 17, 2011, 10:11 am Have you changed the TV source to HDMI input I trusted HTLowyat so never test. Now maybe need to carry the amp back and test with their TV and bring the media player along. This post has been edited by dry75: Jan 17 2011, 12:04 PM |

QUOTE(LoonFay @ Jan 17 2011, 01:43 PM) I called desaht lowyat and asked to bring it back to test with my media player. If cannot, one to one exchange til can.So before i do this, Last chance, i connect direct my media player direct to tv without thru 467 like before and changed video setting from 720p to 1080p 60hz. No signal still, went to washroom. When i m back, the signal is received. The next test is the bd player. Guess i will have to change the setting of the bd player and hope luck will be with me. Also thanks for all the swift feedback received. |

I am havin almost same issue like gelantorian last time. My 467 panel show only dts but never dts hdma.
Amp 467 - selected scene 1 Philips bdp2700 - hdmi audio set up selected bitstream Speaker setup - 3.1 Source - bd25 What i do now 1. Get an ori bd to try again 2. Necessary for both hdmi cable to be v1.3 means from bdp to amp and amp to ledtv? Any other solution ? This post has been edited by dry75: Feb 8 2011, 04:32 PM |

QUOTE(galantorian7116 @ Feb 8 2011, 10:20 PM) 1. If your BD supports DTS HDMA, then the receiver will encode it. Many BD25 support DTS HDMA. Yes. Th bd25 had dts hdma. But the 467 when i select signal info it only show dts. It should show dts hdma right?2. I am using HDMI cables for Philips BD 3100 to Yamaha 467, and for Yamaha 467 to Philips LED TV, and Astro B.yond to Philips LED TV. I use 3 HDMI cables. |

QUOTE(ronaldkwok @ Feb 9 2011, 06:46 AM) I believe the problem lies in your BD player. The Philips BDP-2700 does not support DTS HDMA, unlike the Philips BDP-3100. Both models support Dolby True HD, though. This is suprising since the BDP2700 is a newer model than the BDP3100 and both HD audio standards are supported by all other entry level BD players, as far as I know. Koyak. Let me buy bd25 dolbytrue hd to test. |
