Guys,
At the moment, I'm connecting the DVD component video output to the LCD tv and the DVD stereo audio output (Red-White) to the RXV465. I'm thinking of connecting the DVD component video to the receiver and then connect the receiver HDMI to the LCD tv HDMI input for video. Shall this work? Which one is much better? |

QUOTE(nocar @ Jul 8 2010, 11:17 AM) Guys, your DVD player dont't have optical or coaxial out?At the moment, I'm connecting the DVD component video output to the LCD tv and the DVD stereo audio output (Red-White) to the RXV465. I'm thinking of connecting the DVD component video to the receiver and then connect the receiver HDMI to the LCD tv HDMI input for video. Shall this work? Which one is much better? should be:- DVDP (component & optical/coaxial(digital out) --> RXV465 --> HDMI --> LCD TV (remember to set the DVDP at audio out using digital/bitstream) This will give you the optimum usage, or if your DVDP have HDMI out, just use that to connect to the RXV465 and HDMI out to TV This post has been edited by mpyw: Jul 8 2010, 12:51 PM |
