Normally front n surround setting of spk to big or small will better

Small. For HT all low frequency should go to sub therefore all speaker set to small

If surround wire say 20 meter long per side can any sound degradetion or some lost sound

20M? I thought your house is 100M long whistling.gif
For that length, even 18AWG are more than enough.

How you finding the atmos speakers.

A2040 can only have max 5.2.4 speaker configuration right?

Well the atmos really got effect, but must got atmos disc. Ya the 2040 support 7.2.4

Without Atmos it still support upscaling Atmos right?

2040 can support 7.2.4? I thought max 9 speakers?

I read in a forum about the upscale of Atmos but can't find it now.

In that article it says that Dolby has scalable algorithm for Dolby TrueHD and Dolby Digital Plus. Just wonder whether it's true and able to feel the effect on non Atmos content.

Well in a normal 7.1 or 9.1 setup there are height speakers as well. So most likely it will create certain sound effect from the top down but of course this is any lossless is able to produce without atmos.
