for those who updated official 6.5,
is it lagging ? coz i read from modaco and mobinouts got many complaints

anybody knows how to disable Samsung UI ? in win mob 6.5 it seems it is gone ??

or i don't know where it is ??

I restarted the phone already , i didn change the settings , I have no idea what happen /??

how come the Windows Mobile Device Center i installed using the CD come with the phone cannot detect my omnia 2? my windows vista only detect my omnia as external storage devive (bcoz got extra 8gb storage card)

like that how to do autosync?

I mean the "today screen" whenever i try to sms,call. Need to press than wait for about 4-5 sec before entering the sms menu..Check program background no other running application.

well yea Today screen is slow , it is always have been ...
that is why O2 people are looking for alternative home screens.. such as SPB shell or TF3D...

try this on your device:

1.Start-Settings-General Settings-USB Connection: Make sure you select the ActiveSyn function.
2.Open ActiveSync on your device click Menu-Connections : make sure to select Synchronize all PCs using this connection

Try and reconnect .

As for the internet. you can either connect through bluetooth or USB.
for the settings , just click Start-InternetSharing

u mean the windows default screen? i think its ok.but when going to the inbox or when u want to compose new messages, then its slow.like really2 slow.i want the old winmo inbox n compose.i dont want the samsung inbox n compose message screen.anyone know how to change it?

why everytime I finish download, prepare phone to update, it shuts off my phone, then nothing happened.

are you using Vista Service Pack 1 , that could cause the problem , you need to update to service pack2 to solve the problem , i have heard a few users reported that problem.

As for me I couldn't update to service pack 2 , it will not install on my computer for some unknown reasons. So i just took it to the Samsung Customer Service and they did it for me in an hour.

I personally like win mobile 6.5 , i either don't notice or don 't get the lags that others are talking about , so far two days have been passed , and I like win mob 6.5 and will not downgrade , to me the phone is slightly more responsive ... and the camera has improved also abit ... plus some of the new features and new looks make win mobile more usable , and I had problems with the Connected Home App that streams movies or music through the wifi network to get it to work now after the update it works very nicely and I can stream good quality videos no problem at all very smooth ...

hey guys, I have problem using NPS to update to WIn Mo 6.5 , at the part where it says installing updates , it just stay at 0% for like 45 minutes without any progress . What should I do ? can i take off the cable from the phone and restart the updates again?
