Download I8000HZHIH6 from:- http://rapidshare.com/files/281642716/I8000-HZHIH6.part1.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/281669412/I8000-HZHIH6.part2.rar http://rapidshare.com/files/281687291/I8000-HZHIH6.part3.rar 03. Download OCTANS Downloader v2.0 from:- http://rapidshare.com/files/281517797/OCTANDown_2.0.rar 04. Extract Samsung_CDMA_modem_4_1_.34.zip to c:\Samsung_CDMA_modem 05. You should get a bunch of files:- ... c:\Samsung_CDMA_modem\Setup.exe ... 06. Install c:\Samsung_CDMA_modem\Setup.exe 07. Extract I8000-HZHIH6.part1.rar to c:\ 08. You should get:- C:\I8000HZHIH6\CSC_I8000HZHIH6.CSC C:\I8000HZHIH6\Eboot_I8000HZHIH6_HW_40.eb0 C:\I8000HZHIH6\PDA_I8000HZHIH6_HW_40.nb0 C:\I8000HZHIH6\Phone_I8000XXIH4_REV_04.bin 09. Extract OCTANDown_2.0.rar to c:\ 10. You should get:- c:\OCTANS Downloader v2.0.exe 11. Run c:\OCTANS Downloader v2.0.exe 12. From the interface select:- EBOOT: c:\i8000hzhih6\eboot_i8000hzhih6_hw_40.eb0 PDA: c:\i8000hzhih6\pda_i8000hzhih6_hw_40.nb0 MultiCSC: c:\i8000hzhih6\csc_i8000hzhih6.csc Language Select: English (UK) Phone: c:\i8000hzhih6\phone_i8000xxih4_rev_04.bin Start downloading immediately: checked 13. Connect the USB cable to your computer and Omnia II. 14. Click on Detect button. 15. Once it detected your Omnia II, power off your Omnia II. 16. Wait for the computer and Omnia II on screen instructions to complete. While waiting, do not pull off the USB cable from your computer or Omnia II and hope there is no power failure or your computer hangs. 17. Done. bro.. is this flashing legal? as in is it from Samsung or some 'hacker' kinda stuff?

When I first ran Garmin I had to stand under the clear sky and wait for more than 10 mins just to get a good lock. After that attempt, now the GPS locks on quickly but of course it still can't beat external Bluetooth GPS devices especially the BT 737 A+. It locks in less than 10 secs, 50 sat. capability and double the sensitivity. How bout NAVFon that comes with some Omnia 2 phones? Is it any better?

Not as refined as Garmin Mobile XT. Maps are also not as detailed as MFM and MSM maps. Looks like its more suitable for Singapore maps. GPS lock on is about the same as Garmin's. However, I need to set the GPS baud rate to 9600 for NavFone and 57600 for Garmin. As for me, I'll stick to my trusty ol' Garmin. Solution: Create a shortcut link to the TMAIL.EXE(with parameters) and dump it into the \Windows\Menu folder. 2) Sorting of contacts by Last Name, then First Name... I wonder who remember people by their surname first... Solution: Use a software called 'Contact Changer v13'. (Thanks to the guys here!) 3) Cannot foward SMS!!! Solution: The option is hidden in the Reply->Foward menu option in WinMo SMS...really stupid design. Solved by VITA SMS. So easy to use! With SPB 3.5, the usability is so much better, but i miss something from Samsung widget though. Can i get those widget to run in SPB 3.5? Like Yahoo FInance...this is very useful to keep the fav stock code in the list. Any ideas?? can u post the link? hw much is the prog?
