yep usually after 2-3 days i open my photo browser so that it can update the cache.. and my default image browser sometimes are not able to detect other pictures than the default pictures in the phone memoy.. anyway, so instead of having to update a whole bunch of pictures maybe it can update few by few from time to time.. thus it will only take less time.. get what i mean aa?? sweat.gif sweat.gif

p/s: ofcoz la i realized.. you are a regular here and its an anime avatar.. before this he was wearing an eye patch right? smile.gif

If u got the money, dun sell if off.
Usually those hp shop will give u the lowest price and they will sell with high price.
Then they also dun care about the warranty...

If you don't wish to sell it here in the forum, then wait till the warranty expires and there's some minor problem with it. Like camera flash burnt out, or faulty memory card slot. Then I guess it's high time you sell it to the phone shop.

Universal Battery Tips

*Follow the laptop battery rules: Your phone's lithium-ion battery benefits from the same best battery practices for a laptop. If your battery is new and decent enough, don't keep it plugged in all the time, or it dies the death of a thousand tiny discharges. Use the battery almost all the way when you use it, charge it when it needs it, and, if necessary, let it completely run down and recharge it every so often to refresh its own sense of longevity.

Source : Gizmodo
*
Walao, still got people believing that li-ion batteries need to be fully discharged before recharging? We're far past the age of NiMH people, COMPLETE DISCHARGES SHORTENS THE LIFE OF YOUR LI-ION/LI-POLY BATTERIES! (sorry, felt like shouting there)

Go check: http://www.batteryuniversity.com/

As for dying the death of a thousand tiny discharges, the charge system of the phone is set as such that if it needs recharging, it charges. If it doesn't (it's full) the system stops charging it... What thousands of tiny discharges? sweat.gif

What gets to a constantly plugged in and charged phone IMHO is actually the heat buildup: if your phone gets hot charging while using, you're better off not charging.

Everything else seems spot on, though, miraculously enough.

So what do you guys think? Is it the capacity similar to the default one?  hmm.gif Bare in mind this the first charge.  wink.gif

Nicely done, I'll prolly pick one of these babies up in a few months time (as time will tell the real quality of these extended batteries).

And I'd actually take the 2400mah batts if it wasn't for the lack of any EPIC cases to cover the phone up with afterwards.

QUOTE(hazril @ Oct 8 2009, 01:00 AM)
guys, issit possible to list most frequent contact used on the top list of the phonebook?

TextQuick actually does something similar to this, for both calls and messages... biggrin.gif

Check it out: http://news.mobile9.com/s60apps/2007/07/16...k-by-mind-flip/

@elvman: If that's true then that's horrific. Wait... that's beyond horrific... IT'S NOT KINESCROLLING! sweat.gif

i also prefer 2400 mAH one.. don't care less on the back cover.. so much empty space and so much potential for modding.. rolleyes.gif

Just to share my garmin experience today. Was using it on my drive to KL, had lost satellite reception, unable to calculate route (!) and re-calculating route the whole morning! and couple of times when signal was lost, it remained lost and never came back on

Has to re-enter the destination many times and best part was i was near bangi area when the signal lost and came back on and indicated i was driving along jalan reko, kajang when i was on the north south highway!

Later in the afternoon was back to normal.. man, this is scary, and btw, i was not using a-gps. i guess normal GPS devices still are more reliable then phone based gps devices

Anyone using garmin on the tube to get to a destination should have a back up map on hand just in case if not sure about the route options

No one said mobile phone gps will replace dedicated gps. There is a reason why its call dedicated gps cost RM1000 and our tube with RM1200 with so many things.

Its dedicated means its build to function that way and our tube its just an additional feature mate cheers icon_idea.gif
