Since i use 5800 i found that screen size less than 3.2'' would be insufficient for my liking.. especially for touchscreen.. and many have complain 2.8'' touchscreen on touch diamond is too small for them.. but thats maybe coz of Winmo being not-so-touch-finger-friendly. and according to GSMArena users will find the screen a bit small for the overall interface.

And i have heard somewhere.. dont remember.. in 5530 Thread i think they said the UI responses better in 5530 and maybe the sensitivity is better too.. so far now Opera is the best bro.. and yeah.. can't deny the nice design and color combo of 5530..

I would like to comment one disastrous experience i have after updating to v31. The Garmin software.
The Garmin software totally spoilt my entire mood for 2day.

Now, let me explain in detail why I made such a provoking comment. Active forumers here like aspire, aishiteru-suki or ataraxis n other forumers can come comment giving your justification or even bashing if u feel wat im saying is wrong.

I were to attend Mahathir's open house today in seri kembangan. Extremely looking forward to it. So i chucked out my Garmin(tube) for directions. To my horror, every 15 seconds it recalculates and every 30sec it lost it's satellite signal. I've never experienced when i was on v30 eventhough i've been travelling to further places. I'm driving Honda Civic btw with Vcool windscreen.
Okay, so Vcool makes it harder for signals 2 penetrate? Fine, I wind down the window and asked my fren to put the tube near the window. Absolutely USELESS.
It recalculates like mad and my car is like forever off road and on top of tat, the GPS is asking us to make impossible turns which makes driving extremely dangerous.

I'm extremely unhappy today as I have no choice but to drive back home, unable to attend the former PM's open house.
If u guys had thought v31 fixes bugs or watsoever, now im here telling all Garmin users NOT to update ur tube to v31 as the signal reception is extremely poor, that is, if u had not realised.

Now, I would like to hear every1's comments who had updated to v31 and thereafter used their Garmin intensively.

I've been experiencing this since v30. and yet on v31 the problem still exists.
gamrnin keep on recalculating and position me off road. same symptom as yours.

mebe shud have tried restart the whole phone b4 continuing the journey...hehe

erm no offense brother but i think you should come up with contingency plan in future jz in case anything fails like get google map path printed (if u able to get it printed) before hand. i always do that..or go to the place 1 - 2 weeks before to learn the route (i do this always when going to new places so that i wun get lost on the actual day and wun panic). anyway no need so upset, tools are like this...doesnt seem to work when u want it to...works fine when u dun need it.weird huh

I found that using phone for GPS navigations is not that realiable.. thats why i never use it.. the only reason i use it as a guidance to know where my location is.. not to show directions.. if u get what i mean laa..

Well.. some people say v31 improves the locking-speed while others say otherwise.. depends on their situations maybe.. dont know.. sigh... hope you are okay bro.. can see your frustrations there..

maybe that area is the area with tall buildings, or with thick clouds

seriously now, i wouldnt rely on my garmin tube. i was confident using it without getting backup like google maps bcz i tried it several times and it hardly failed on me, only a few times where positioning wasn't tat accurate but it still helped me reach the destination.
2day was way off.... after updating to v31.

just feeling kinda disappointed today... and at the same time a little frustrated. also disappointed some of my frens with me who were eager to attend tun mahathir's open hse. though dey didnt blame me but i feel kinda bad.

so far i have no serious problem with my GPS though. it messed up only when it was raining or when i was in KL where there were tall buildings around. but it never failed to bring me to my intended destinations all the times and yeah, i am on v21 btw, no way for u guys to downgrade to v21? seems like v30 and v31 are problematic

I have experience some problems with the phone, it's nothing to do with the hardware or the firmware, but rather the battery notification on the top right corner. The battery bar is not accurate at all, eg. I use to listen to music for about 4 hours straight, but then the in the next 12 hours, its still on full bar, but when i restart my phone, the battery drop straight to 4 bar, I'm just curious, is it the firmware that causing the inaccuracy, or the theme that I'm using? Has anyone encounter this before?
