If you like Alphard very much, i would say go for it as you definitely can afford it. Sometimes we have to live a little.

Lousy boss. My brother drove kancil to work even with senior position. When people ask what he is driving. He replied, "Kancil"? People gave thumb up laugh.gif

Me like simple life. Work in local company. Although I just use Japanese and local cars, at least I bought all my cars cash.

Cars are a tool to get from A to B.

If you can take Public Transport. save even more money.
But make sure you save it instead of spend it.

2023 has been a good recovery year for my portfolio. Coming back to this a year later 🤣

Age: 28
Occupation: Brand Owner

Financial.Assets (MYR value)
Cash : RM20k
Business Assets : RM380k
FD : RM450k
ASM : RM283k
VERSA : RM31k
US STOCKS : RM 1,38M
BTC : RM3,82M
EPF : RM219k

Total : RM6.5M

Liabilities
Housing loans = RM2M house (RM10k loan in 2025)
Insurance = RM300 per month
A girlfriend that I absolutely adore and hopefully to wife up in 2026.

I hate having bills and loans to pay so I’m thinking to dump RM2M inside the loan account to reduce the interest to 0. Worth it?

Just a note, some loan agreement does not allows that.
I think I read before, you can lump sum up to a certain %. Must maintain certain % of loan, else they will ask you to terminate that argeement (close that account)

I can dump everything after 3 years of financing the loan. So I’m going to put 90-98% inside in the first 3 years.

It's per year. Incentive and bonus are not fixed every month so just put the yearly number

Successful business owners are outliers. There are many unsuccessful one like myself who can't even earn more than 10% of my employment income.

hksgmy would disagree.

There are more failed business owners than successful ones, they just don't come to this thread and talk about it.

And also, comparison is the theft of joy bro, you are doing well so just keep going.
