UCSI selection process is lax but when you are in the program already, the exams are not easy at all. Feel free to send anyone from other local unis over to take our exams. External examiners have been recommending our school to change the exams to easier for many years, the few examiners that saw our question also said in public uni, they only test the fundamental basics during finals.

Anyone know about which university recognized by Singapore (SMC). Is Monash or Newcastle University recognized because of the twinning?

I only know IMU-PMS is recognized. Any other?


P.S: if you remember me, im from STPM 2008. Serving NS is like throwing your life into the drain...

i served NS and my life is not in the drain thank u very much.

only UM & UKM are recognised by SMC strictly speaking.

are you a singaporean also? i think Ibrahimovic is a singaporean who served 2 yrs of NS.

Added on June 27, 2010, 5:49 pmthere are plenty of sporeans who are doing medicine at imu-pms...........about 4-6 per batch.......it's a cheaper way to a sma recognised degree, and also a back door for some who failed to get direct entry into the respective unis..........

Hi everybody, anybody heard of Penang Medical College problem at the moment ? I heard UCD and RCSI stopped giving recognition to the PMC graduates ? Anybody can confirmed that ?

Hehe. Yes, I'm actually a Singaporean studying in Malaysia from kindergarten. But sadly 2 years plus suffering (physical training etc.) really make me feel sad not being a Malaysian.Since I only scored 3.5 CGPA, I thought I might get in Monash or Newcastle. Anyone know the recent cut-off point?

I'm eligible for next year intake. I canceling out IMU since I think I'm not good enough.

the entry requirements for IMU is much lower than Monash la. IINM, IMU is BBB whereas Monash requires AAA. u should be cancelling monash instead of IMU.

It's harder to get into Monash than IMU actually. The cut off point for IMU is also lower and if we were to ignore the interviews and such Monash would need a combination of your pre-u scores with ISAT while in academic terms IMU only requires your pre-u result.

Just try and apply for anything you can. Leave the decision making until when you actually have offers from the Universities you applied for =)

btw, Monash really higher? Lat year,I thought IMU only accept AAB student which is their cut-off point. I only got ABB for 2008 STPM. If this true I will be cancelling out both Monash AND IMU! Sad day for me..

i said it was a joke because they do go other countries for tertiary education, just like malaysians.... saying that they only stay in singapore is an insult to them i think.
